It's a blessing in disguise. 10mil for another BRIT who hasn't had regular football in a year?

I'll pass anytime of the year.

he dont play coz he gotta compete with the likes of nasri, silva etc....we dont have the same luxury/class winger...i rather pay 10m for him than 15m for allen as we have alot of CM

U think Selangor FC stupid? Selangor FC is not an idiot. Last time they paid premium price to bring TONY COTTEE to the club(a BRIT)....and needless to say, he flopped 9 streets away, citing homesick and pitch conditions.

Selangor FC has learnt their lesson in a hard way.

i can see the potential in allen(based on 2 games) maybe 15m is still ok although 5m higher than normal market... but 45m for hendo, downing, adam is the worst i've seen so far... last summer was our stepping stone to rise but sadly we paid rm20 for a glass of tea

Great to see Sahin's signed. Even better because we almost lost him to Arsenal. Hope we can sign him though if he does well this season..

Doubt there will be any players leaving, not at least until January I think. Cause Rodgers have said many times that the squad was lacking in depth and so I don't see why he would sell anyone off after saying this. If anything, he'll keep with the current squad till January transfer window then maybe offload those he don't need.

Wonder what is the actual meaning of no option to buy?
if it means we cannot buy him no matter how well he does, this doesnt sound a signing suited for long term building...

but i'm so desperate now i'll welcome him..haha

I think no option to buy means you cant force RM to sell....

For instance, Arsenal reported wanted a 14m buy at end of loan deal but was rejected. The deal works in such a way that no matter how well or how badly Sahin plays for Arsenal, as long as Arsenal bid 14m, RM has to accept the deal regardless of whether they value Sahin at higher price. This is the reason why RM and Sahin himself dislike the deal.

For our case, we merely loaned Sahin with no such clause inserted. We are paying 70% of Sahin's salary and if Sahin does so well that we plan to bid for him, we can do so. It is then up to RM whether to sell Sahin or not to us.

I think that's how the no option to buy means.

Finally its over. Looking forward to see him in action after so much drama.

Don't really care about the no option to buy clause. Let's just do our best to break into top 4 and then worry about any possible extension.
