not complicated at all.

people had done all the hard parts programming the tools to perform the root, the recovery manager etc.

All thats left for the end user to do is read the instructions freely available on google, and youtube and just follow it exactly.

everythings all explained so it's almost impossible to brick your phone, unless you just run headlong into it without reading/watching/following instructions  sweat.gif

yes you will be missing out one quite a few things. i just you google to find out more  nod.gif

samsung was my first and only smartphone. so i skipped the hard rooting phones like your htc example :}

This is why i got the samsung s3 for the good specs, good mod support, and less hassle to root/modify etc nod.gif

for newbie it's understandable it may look confusing at first. but if you read the tuts out there for 1 hour or less, and try it following the instructions.

after that 1st day, you will feel very comfortable flashing custom roms.

rooting only needs to be done once cool.gif

Yes. In Google map there is a direction icon on the left bottom. Just use that.

As Chainfire says, if you need more than 30 seconds to root your phone, you need more practice. laugh.gif

official google navigation isn't available in malaysia.. but can work if modded..

for now i just use waze (free) - with live traffic by user
else just sygic (paid) - accurate map but no live traffic

still the best traffic info goes to google maps i believe

the turn-by-turn one is called as Google Maps Navigation. U just go click Navigation in your apps list and you'll know

directions that one is of course can use.. but not really useful as it will be quite confusing when u are driving..
