Guys, I just bought my S3 and have a question. It seems I can't manage to insert my sim card into the slot as the card is slightly bigger than the slot space itself. Am I doing it wrong?

u need a microsim. perhaps u can go handphone shop to cut it for u or u go to any telco service centre to get a new microsim?

Oh man, this is troublesome. Didn't realise that need microsim to be able use S3.
Can the mobile service provider exchange it on the spot?

cutting sim not recommended if the some gold part of the sim need to be cut.

my SIM card's gold part was big and it got cut off during the microSIM-ing process.
Not recommended. Got some problems with receiving messages occasionally.

i was so desperate to use my phone that i cut it myself. well, if u r not confident enough then better let those pro do it for u or get a new microsim from ur telco

if u really wanna cut, utilize masking tapes or any kind of tape adhesive + a brand new razor blade tip + metal ruler.

i used scissors and it worked

just walk in any phone shop, and request for help.
they will cut it for free . simple
