Asking opinions:
I have been waiting for almost two months, but still haven't had my SRD scheduled. I followed up twice before getting my F2F interview results. Should I accept a job offer from another company? What I worry is to take leave to attend the SRD after joining the company for may be a few weeks. Any advices? Thanks in advance.

After you've gone through the SRD, it'll take another 2 - 6 months before you actually report for duty - if you passed, that is. They're quite flexible on the job start date and worst case scenario you'll just have to take two days' worth of unpaid leave. I'm sure your company won't break a fuss about it. Thank you for the reply Salary. Have been followed up with that coordinator thru email 2 times. First, said still in process, second emel not replied, after abt 1 week. Maybe have to wait some more time.
Anwarmatlani : Mine stated no application been made in last 6 months. How that possible?

From what I asked the interviewer after the F2F last time, the result whether u pass SRD or not would be 3days after...... so fast.Is it? Need confirmation.
Time duration to go for report duty is beyond my knowledge anyway. Refer to Salary post.
When was your F2F interview Izhaojie? Mine 12th July. Still do not know whether I made it to SRD or not.

Yup, that is correct. Pass or fail, they'll get back to you within three working days after your SRD. From there, they'll identify a suitable position for you before churning out an offer, a process which took a little over a month after the SRD in my case.

I had mine on Aug 16. You can keep waiting or follow up with your coordinator. It's true if you wait for a longer time, the chance for you to pass it is higher. Now I already waited 2 weeks, no call from them regarding the date of SRD.

I know the wait seems endless, but do give them some time. They will most definitely inform you within a week. In the meantime, re-think your product line preference. If you are successful, your recruiter will again ask you about your role preference, followed by identifying the right position for you.

Might just get a job and work first. Can't really wait without doing anything. Feel like wasting time every day.

I followed up with them twice before getting the results. hehe.. because i'm 2012 graduate, not 2013.. i'm worried that the longer i wait, the more probably my application will be missed out. i know they are dealing with high number of applications.. but i am planning to wait until end of this month.. to end my waiting for the application..

May I ask if after having passed the SRD there is the possibility of don't receiving a job offer?
Thanks!
