I have yet to come across a case like that, but the post-SRD message seems to indicate so, doesn't it (if you're successful, that is)? Don't worry, they'll return with a job placement eventually, it's just that the waiting period may vary for each candidate. Just to give you a little assurance, I received my offer letter roughly two months after attending the SRD, with a commencement date a little further down the line.
