errr.....500 psqft is too low.  I  don't agree with your price point. I think it should be 550-580 psqft. This price range is doable regardless of slow or fast take-up rate.

Yr prediction could be true. It depends on DD vs SS afterall

Skypod is within walking distance. Infact, it's quite far if you walk to the LRT station. It's totally different concept compared to SW. not based on bias, SW should fetch higher price as compared to Skypod...

this is your brilliant argument to justify higher pricing? the closer the distance is to a train station makes it more expensive? wow.
and i wonder why avenue k is cheaper than its neighbours.

RM 550-580 per sq feet?

Mind to share why this price range is doable regardless of slow or fast take up rate?

ibbrio is correct. i didnt know what was inside just by looking from outside. from outside really looked like a white elephant. once inside, it felt a bit like paradise (ok maybe not 100% paradise but the place looks refreshing with wading pools an water features along the cafes).

Slowly lah bro ...

Not easy suddenly to transform SW to becomes Sunway Pyramid, Empire Subang, Pavillion in one or three months ... Probably min 1 year to 2 years ...

I guess it's not a great marketing gimmicks if pioneer tenants are all pubs and bistros ...

IOI Boulevard lagi teruk ... Other than Pappa Rich, I won't even visit other retails ...

I think the A&P team is banking more on social medias for promotion of SW, but I agree that at least there are some physical banners to attract the casual passerby. The earlier idea of the electronic LED board will be a good idea, but it seem to be scrapped. Hopefully they will install a LED board at the mall facing LDP, to advertise the tenants inside, SPS also can use it to advertise their launches.

I was attracted by the scale model of SW which shows big TGV signage board (facing LDP), the board cover the entire wall, I say WOW! very good.
Now you see the TGV signage? I say TNS! I hv voiced out the issue to SW SA but I dun see they are willing to alter it.

Many shop owners in the mkt never operate a business before, they thought it is easy to maintain a business operation (profit), high rental is really killing, I said earlier, if all the shops are not opened at the same time, chances for SW to success is very slim. SW has 4 bullets to boost up the crowd, 1. TGV 2. LRT 3. PFCC 4. In house 850 units of household. So far TGV has started but I dun see significant improvement in the shop frontage.
If shop owners are not co-operative among themselves, they will break theirs' own rice bowl.

Ya, I remember that scale model tongue.gif Actually, I don't worry much on the frontage, I'm sure they will put something up, just like how they put the "Setia Walk" sign without lighting earlier, then after feedbacks they change it to lighted up sign. They have a large surface for them to advertise, it will be STUPID not to utilize it. But I prefer them to do it up earlier, as you said, TGV already up and operating, it's time to put the TGV sign up. In fact I believe there is also a space on Block F near the bridge for advertising, but it's also still bare now.

i watched life of pi at tgv setia walk. really a nice place to watch movie. not cramped other other cinemas i have been to. i feel sad for setia walk if sp setia is not doing its best to promote it. like one of u mentioned here, it has all the formula to be successful. i just hope that setia walk will prosper more in the future. sp setia team that is handling setia walk is slacking off. wtf. do something sp setia!!!

Maybe sps have more important assets to look after that yields better results for them.
Eg. If sps is gonna spend for their marketing in a fixed bydget scenario, where do you think they would rather throw ttheir money too? One of their own malls, one of their townships, one of their most iconic project or this setia walk?
