hi,
there's something i would like to ask...currently i'm using Strider ST56F, and from the spec sheet at here, it stated that the 12V can provice peak 21A...
from most the current requirements that i saw, mostly requires 12V to be 24A...does that mean my current PSU dont really support newer GCs?

P/S: i'm currently using Asus GTS 250 Dark Knight, from the box, it also said require 12V to be 24A doh.gif
maybe that's why i will occasionnally encounter PC hang when playing games (but that's a different matter)...

don't install first, do another benchmark with ur current driver and take screenshot, save it. then update newer driver and do the benchmark again, to compare

long time haven't update my nvidia driver edi, still in v295.73;
far less problem during games and never see the "driver no responding and recovered" message until now.
i prefer stability over performances tongue.gif

i didn't use driver sweeper, i just install the 306.23 and reboot. perhaps i should sweep the 301.42 then only install the new driver??  rclxub.gif

It's comparably the same. Usually newer drivers = better performance, but this is not always the case. I have also heard some people are having issues with "Battlefield 3" performance after updating to this driver and Quad-Sli GTX 690 users report that their games would start smoothly, stutter and finally stop working. As for me, I only have played "Prototype 2"... haven't tried on other titles yet. As long as "smooth" I'm good.

i'm same with u, as long as it's smooth, nothing silly happen then it's good enough. who cares about the driver numbers? tongue.gif

Actually what Nvidia usually loses out, is the way some of the products are priced here in Malaysia. I saw in Viewnet's Facebook page, the price for a Gigabyte GTX 650 is RM539, that is RM200 more expensive than an equivalent Sapphire HD 7750. doh.gif Perhaps over time, the pricing would readjust itself.

The GTX 660 on the other hand at RM999 is also not that viable, considering the price cuts that HD 7870 has received lately.
