High score in 3DMark 11 & Unigine Heaven benchmark with iGPU are caused by Lucid MVP, almost double the score. It's not bugs. Solution; open Lucid MVP, on system tray right click disable MVP. Somehow I click off but MVP still running. I try to disable Lucid MVP on start up but I didn't know which exact service or program that was executed on start up. However in gaming performance, the boost is not that high as above two apps.

Another thing, IMO high end GPU should disable Lucid MVP, or just uninstall. Tried GTX 550 Ti with Lucid MVP, game feel smoother on Mafia II compare with no Lucid MVP, no bugs or artifacts. Tried with HD 7970, of course smooth, no bugs or artifacts. Tried with GTX 670, artifacts like shit and game play not smooth. Driver tested, both latest stable and latest beta.

However, this is tested on pirated game. Who knows any game update will improve the compatibility issue. For now, I just disable my Lucid MVP with my GTX 670. HD 7970 and GTX 670 perform really well without Lucid MVP. I'd say, Lucid MVP is a marketing gimmick. Quite weird because GTX 670 are not friendly with Lucid MVP. Maybe GTX 680 user can try and share.

Triple buffering should be on all the time, I see no reason to off it.

Adaptive V-Sync are still early stage, it gonna need to take like 1-2yrs to reach perfection, in the mean time just use ingame V-Sync with tripple buffering on.

so far i found only fifa 12 experienced it. 1 sec stutter.

there were some issues with Kepler's vsync. nvidia recommend to turn it off in game/NV panel rclxub.gif

Some backup plans from AMD. tongue.gif

QUOTE
AMD is planning to give further price cuts to its Radeon HD 7000 series lineup after the launch of NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 660 Ti. NVIDIA’s GTX 660 Ti is already awaited by many fans and mid-range gamers.

To be specific, AMD would announce price cuts on Radeon HD 7850/ HD 7870 and Radeon HD 7950. The Radeon HD 7950 recently got a price cut from $450 to $350 for reference models. The retail price of NVIDIA’s GTX 660 Ti is set at $299 so our guesstimate is that the new price of HD 7950 would be around $329.

Coming to the 7870/7850, both models retail for $299/$249 respectively. A $20-$40 price cut is expected on these two models too. From current benchmarks and especially TweakTown’s early review, we came to know that for 1080P, GTX 660 Ti turned out the be the best GPU overall compared to HD 7870/ HD 7950.

To spice things up further, AMD has also planned a Boost version of the HD 7950 details of which can be found here.
