just install it, maybe you could check the box that says perform clean installation, but even without that it is just fine smile.gif
nvidia driver not as fragile as AMD tongue.gif

Meaning better to uninstall current driver first, then only install new driver?

No needed to uninstall. If something goes wrong, better do a super clean reinstall.

780 out mean EOL for 680.
so price tag for 780 will be similar to 680.

Oh there's another situation, if i format my computer...then i wanna install graphic driver for GTX 560 Ti. Do i have to install the graphic driver from the DVD(Which comes along with the GPU) first then only install the latest driver downloaded from nividia website (301.42WHQL)?

Meaning install old driver from DVD then only install the latest driver downloaded from nvidia website(301.42WHQL).

Am i right?

TQ

You do not need to install old driver.
You can directly install the latest driver. the same to all hardware. smile.gif

IF amd 8970 came out earlier than 780 and is stronger than 680 then 680 price will drop. and then only 780 will have same price tag as 680 now

It's not reference cooler. It's the Windforce 3x Cooler used on Gigabyte cards which allows it to go that high. It should be the max boost clock speed though.
