im getting my k5 this week
which brand to choose for tint? sunrrof also can tint?
Use the car first and see if u really need the tint first. All K5 come with UV cut glass. I didnt use a tint cuz the heat was bearable. Even if u decide to tint, dont bother bout the sunroof. You wont be opening the sunroof that often anyway.

I think it is safer for the tint, especially for the security tint to ensure the glass don't shattered upon impact

Yes if its for safety reasons then fine. But many ppl who install tint arent doing it for safety. More for comfort.

My sunroof is hardly used but I do drive around with the sunshade off. That's why I did my sun & moon roof too when I tinted my ride.

I have this nagging issue just would like to share out. Eventhough the central locking is controlled by the driver, it seems that the front passenger still able to open the door (the lock automatically releases).....is this only applicable when the car is stationary? Even if the answer is yes, still don't feel safe while stopping at traffic lights and the passenger is a kid.

All passengers can open the door but they need to manually unlock the door themselves. Dont know what you mean by 'automatically release'. Only the driver can just open the door straightaway. Same with Toyota cars.

I think the front passenger can instantly open the door once pull the lever. Maybe I'm wrong in that sense but I did see my mom doing it.
