Hello!!! y now so quiet? any comment for the new engine?

Just got my new white K5 last saturday. Enjoy it a lot.... especially when people keep looking at your car. 

Seeing so much problems arising in K5 makes me having a second thought whether to get it or not. No doubt the look is a killer.. Hmmm.. Around that price Add on a bit could get Honda or Toyota.. Where there is less troubleshoot? Correct me if I'm wrong.. Because I don't wanna dump around 150k to get worries.. >,< just want a comfortable stress free ride.. ^^you guys having any gathering where I could join and check out your rides.. ^^

Its 143,888 OTR before discount. I didnt get a discount but got an overtrade for my Vios. Even Toyota KL offered me only 34K for my 9.5 yr Vios 1.5E trading in for the Camry 2.5V. But Kia Ipoh took it for 38K. That's a good 4K extra.

So basically, i paid less than 140K for my K5. If thats not a good deal for a well spec'd 2.0L D segment car, then i dont know what else to say. 

The new Optima K5 also has the most powerful 2.0L NA engine in that price range on paper rite? 170Hp, 201Nm torque. Camry 2.0L only 146Hp, 190Nm. But i think power delivery for the K5 needs to be improved. Not sure if the new engine has addressed this.

My K5 body has "injured" a bit, the surface paint has chip off a little... 
Does anyone hear about "spot painting" which we do not need to send our K5 for whole body paint and only paint the "spot" area ?

there is few party selling the touch up pen which is meant for K5 original paint colour and also a lot of discussion about the car, new technology for the car and add on item for improving the car comfort level, performance and the look...

no offence to the vw owners, u can looked into their thread and see their compain on one major item in the car, the gearbox
even t n h has prolems, just matter of probability percentage and rectification approach

so far, my k5 amost 10 mths, going strong. no major issue so far, small ones has been fixed by good sc

many ppl have this perceptive of kroean cars are bad and so, and never consider at all for their purchase...i think it is a loss to that person, not having another option in their consideration, blindly discriminating a whole country car products.

i realised somrtime it doest open too.. i heard someone mentioned about during last TT.. press the fuel button b4 you shutdown your engine... maybe the fuel opener is control electrically.. anyone can confirm this?

Hi, from the naked eye, how to know whether the engine is the old one or the new one.  SA told me that new version (Nu) doesnt use power streering fluid.

What is the type of engine oil that SC using?
