same procedure. car reg card, auth letter stating you are given consent to drive the car into thailand. head over to the counter get the temp import/export paper. then let the officer sign.

only thing to remember is to return the paper back when you check out from border. if not, the next trip you come big fees waiting

nope. just go q, the lady officer will see your passport, your card reg card. she will key into their system, take the printed paper...sign 3 place. then hand over to the guy officer. he might ask for your car...just driver over and collect the white paper.

head over to Pudu. few company offering trips from KL - Hatyai. then you can stop at Dannok.

heard it is just very close to the border,.one is at the left part, the other one is right.

2. the Asian cultural village?
heard it has the famous jaguar bar, anyone kindly provide me the route if I start to drive from bkt custom.

3.the shooting range?
heard it is along the road to hyt, can identify by coca-cola ads stand. anyone please kindly provide the detail location too.

4.finally, is there any nice Buddha temple around danok?

Oo.So i can stop at dannok even the bus going to hatyai? How about return trip to KL?I cant seem to find any company offering that route.

Just tell the driver you stopping at danok when going down for thai immigration(don't make 1 bus of people wondering what happen to you).

Return ticket maybe you can ask the driver or the reception of your hotel where can get ticket.
I do notice there as people joining a hyt-kl bus in front of oscar hotel, danok.

I used to buy the ticket back to KL at the coffee shop near the border. It's located on the first row of shops (left-hand side) after you enter Thailand. A few meters from the border actually. Pls note that this was a few years ago.

Anyone here who have recent experiences on that matter?

Ha ha.. don't worry you got $$, I'am sure got people want to earn it. unless its peak season(sold out).

Worst come to worst. Walk back to Malaysia boarder. Then ask every bus driver got slot to KL or not loh atimmigration check. .

Or call Alisan Coach or Sir Maju. Ask them about getting down and up at Danok. Do feed back here of your finding.


If you are planning to go alone. Just careful of leaches.

danok now bring border pass not so easy like last time when the officer just chop chop no see d, now they will key in your details, then also scan it when you out of thai

overall, hatyai or danok a better place for a holiday with some male friends? seems like things not cheap in hatyai...

Still got good place. Generally avoid tourist attraction place lah.

don't ever go 99 baht buffet. It's an invitation to trade.
