Like those seen on TV, but very well organized management wise. You need to pass through 2-3 door, each door with a henchman confirming to the henchman on the following door how many person is entering or exit. There is a large quantity of CCTV on the ceiling of the casino floor, a lot of staff member to help take note the amount of bets you tender, or how much you win. Pretty much well organized, and noisy but well controlled.

There is free flow "instant food" like noodles, 3 in 1 drinks. There is one casino that gives out free buffet style porridge and meat curries with a vegetable dish. But not sure if this one is still in business. Meal was not the best but it is decent.

Most of the senior citizen who enter Dannok is here.

Hi. Is the casinos still open? Appreciate feedback as well as location. Thinking of checking them out as I am up North and there is a public holiday this week.

Hi fellow LYN members,

I am thinking of going to Dannok during December with my family and kids. Was wondering should we drive in or park and walk in instead considering the make up of our group.

Appreciate any advice. Cheers!

even during normal times, hatyai was kind of 'empty' during weekdays

then during weekend, very very very jam especially at the central mall.

Has anyone been stopped by police for not having the International Driving Licence in Thailand?

I have driven in Thailand many times before (but without the International Driving Licence).

So I wonder if do they really require Malaysians to have the International Driving Licence in Thailand?

There's a post on the front page regarding difficulty with insurance claims as the person involved didn't have a international driving license.

Since there hasn't been activity on this thread for a long time, anyone been to Danok by bus from TBS lately?
