Any particular format for the authorization letter? Where we can get the letter? I've been driving to southern Thai few times, but some of my friends own used car with previous owner name and not sure about the procedure.
*
Huh? Why din change name after buying? I pity the ex-owner having to pay summons for the new owner if any haha.
Just a simple 1 line letter will do..no specific format....just mention.. I bla_Bla_ Ic no...owner of vehichle no.......hereby authorised so & so to drive my car...

PP hotel and Siam Thana Hotel the car park are underground and quite small. Usually will be full after 7pm like that. before that surely got place

PP hotel, if u are not too late, u can park in front of the hotel ( the main entrance, not the one facing the main road). They got special reserve for parking there de. but if too late...sorry la apa pun tadak biggrin.gif

Paramount hotel car park is not underground right? forget d

no ayam talk here is allowed.

Nah, it aint that expensive thus far.

You are spending SGD. So no worries.

You may visit TESCO LOTUS to check out the beer price. It's pretty fair deal at Tesco.

Hi,

I have been travel South Thailand almost twin yearly.
Anyway, felt bored if repeated to visit the same place.
Can anyone recommended some place nearby Hatyai that worth to visit.
Nearby means can travel by car within 1-2 hours or
< 150km from Hatyai.
Basically looking for family trip rather than" adventure trip" cry.gif

Summarise place that i have visited so far:-
- Hatyai/ Dannok, almost every year
-Bentong (3-4 time)
-Krabi ( One)
-Phuket ( Twin)
-Phuket town (One)

What if I drive in with my dad's car and my dad is not following? Create the fake authorisation letter ourself?

I never try drive in myself so not sure the actual procedure.

Haha,

Good suggestion,
But not practical le? drool.gif

It kinda tire with long range driving, especially driving in Tom Yam land,
and most important was the fuel price was double than in Malaysia.
Not worth the money spend, rather take a flight they was better and cheaper option.
