Btw, the seller changed his mind at the last minute, saying he wont be selling the BWU to me but keep it as a collection. Not sure thats good news for me or not. lol tongue.gif so now I have another choice in mind, CM Storm Quick Fire Pro, but I am very not sure about which switch to choose, red or brown ? Any feedback for me? icon_question.gif

the 104 keys cm storm? its not a good keyboard, bad quality. go for cm trigger instead.

You prefer bling bling or not? tongue.gif
Ducky shine I see quite a lot of good reviews. And a lot of shine user here too, maybe you can get feedback from them?

You should probably test out the keys first, to be on the safe side.

Red switches are very comfortable to press, but sometimes too soft until you don't feel like you are typing on a mechanical keyboard. Brown is quite similar to red but there is a tactile feeling there. A 'click' feel when you press each key, at least it feels better. Based on my past experience.

Then again, these are all based on personal opinions. Some like the red switch, some like brown. I like both actually, but i favor more to brown, as my current switch as well thumbup.gif And for the keyboards, you should consider other keyboards too, not only CM.

Yea, I read about the reviews on which switch is better, but then again same answer as you - purely on personal liking. But since it will be my first mech kb, so I really not sure which one will suit me - can't try it out coz at my place here, you tell them Ducky Shinging, they will ask you, whats that? Shining duck? Can eat one or not? yawn.gif You get what I mean

If you have low budget, then you can only consider the tenkeyless cm rapidfire, like trigger, it has good quality compared to filco or ducky, just underrated.

you don't even know which switch you like first? Go to the store and test them, or ask someone in here, i remember there's a guy in here that would send you all the switches for you to test but you have to pay the shipping fee. it's just a numpad with different switches. If you have a tight budget, and you dont even know which switch you like, I would suggest you to do more research first.

Lol. True also. Ducky Shine is one of the most comfortable keyboards I've ever used. I remember paying RM470 for the Red Switch, now it's much cheaper sweat.gif Maybe you can try off with Brown first, there's a tactile feel, but if you like pressing with ease and prefer softer keys, red is good to go. Well, I did do my research, but mostly only by reading reviews on the web, I dont have any chance to try out the kb, the only one I can try here is the Razer BWU - blue switch. I kinda like the tick tack feel (tactile?) when I press it, but then again, a lot people seems to be very anti-razer? blink.gif

BWU are blue switches, they are good for typing, but if you're beside me playing games while using blue switch, I might slap my keyboard at your face. People hate on Razer because of their quality issue, they have a long term history of bad quality control. Conclusion, blue switch is annoying as hell, are you gonna play games at night or anything? Try to find the fella here, he has a numpad of switches and pay for the shipping, and he will ship the numpad to you. Test everything out and see which one you like, don't get a mechanical keyboard just for the sake of luxurious, pick the switch you like the most importantly. If you like tactile feeling, best I can recommend is brown switches.

that is not tactile, that is clicky sound

well, razer is over-rated already, and quality is not as half good as other brands, perhaps you can have a chance on cm storm, where there are places selling cm products, they might have it

*Ouch! laugh.gif I heard that too, but then again I am living alone, mayn't be a prob, but brown is pretty much on the spot for me too compared to red (price-wise) but really bro, thanks for the suggestion, very helpful notworthy.gif

BWU, Logitech and dunno-what-name-or-from-where kind of kb. Such a sad place sad.gif oh ya, just remembered, I've tested my friend's SS 6GV2 (I think), so thats mean I've tested black and blue , dont like the black tho tongue.gif

I may have to decline the offer since I will be needing the kb quite urgently and the mech kb tester will takes some time reach me, no? But kaiserreich boss, if I only play games like HON and CS(not that much) + doing some assignments (report/thesis writings) which one would you recommend? hmm.gif
