QUOTE(kaysa @ Aug 11 2012, 09:38 PM) I think its time for me to sell off my Leopold FC500RR-Red switch.... oh this.. i still havent tried replacing my spacebar on my fc700r yet.. ill try later. just take out both alt and push a bit is it?No disrespect to Cyclonechua and There is nothing wrong with this keyboard, just that........ I have 3 different set of keycaps that cannot fit its spacebar on the Leopold!! and the coming sanctuary can't fit too I think... Those keycaps sets' price are over the value of this keyboard now, so looking for a user that do not want to play with keycaps to buy from me. It come with a free blank 104 keycaps sets, and 4 different color spacebar keys since I will not be using them since they are made to fit only Leopold. any one interested or friend to recommend? EDIT1:i took out the fc700r one easily but couldnt take out the ducky one EDIT2: nope, ducky spacebar doesnt fit the current fc700r. This post has been edited by kyrmian: Aug 11 2012, 09:09 PM |

QUOTE(kaysa @ Aug 11 2012, 10:23 PM) Serious??? can you take out both of them and place them side by side and take a photo of them and show us? I mean put them up side down, and then one up one down. to compare the hole at the back for key switches and stabilizer. ![]() White one is FC700R, black one is Ducky. did you notice the difference between the holes? the black one is further away from the middle hole while the white one is closer to the middle. |

QUOTE(Human10 @ Aug 11 2012, 11:51 PM) I think you should have another comparison with KBC's replacement spacebar or the spacebar of Leopold FC200R. I only have CM Trigger, Ducky and Leopold, and only one set of custom keycaps which are for MX... so I can't really find a KBC one. I am getting a 6gv2 soon, just for gaming, and then probably sell CM Trigger and get a blue switch keyboard to complete the family, and then RF in the future! Cause actually apart from the spacing from Ducky/Filco, KBC's one can also fit in SS7G/FC200R which also having different spacing from Ducky/Filco. In short, still need to confirm whether it is FC200R or FC500R standard is used on the FC700R. |

QUOTE(kaysa @ Aug 12 2012, 12:48 AM) Thank you very much for posting the photo, but I think we still can't know for sure the key fit or not, will do that soon. can you please measure the distance between the middle hole and the side hole, and the distance from the side of the key to the middle of the +hole of the side? start and end at the middle of the + hole. |

QUOTE(kaiserreich @ Aug 12 2012, 02:35 AM) What's the list for anyways? and what do you do with the pictures? I don't mind posting mine.. but is it just to prove you actually owns one? lolIt's not very useful, and it serves to give a ton of headaches to the TS. Plus some guy who never post in here just come in and say, hey, "I bought a mechanical keyboard, please add me to the list". And then what happens, what's the point of that at all? Other than allowing you to show off your e-peen, without pictures at that, there's no purpose at all. I mean, if you want to show off e-peen, you should be posting the pictures of your keyboard, no? |

QUOTE(kaiserreich @ Aug 12 2012, 12:09 PM) Because it is tradition you must do it instead of evaluating what's the point of actually doing it? Well, what you said is right, but I do check the front page for how many people owns a specific keyboard and I'll ask here if it's actually that good and I might get it. The list helps me too, I actually PM'd a few specific people to ask about brand because a few times when I posted here, no one replied to my post. It's like knowing how many people actually owns a mechanical keyboard and how famous it is compared to other keyboards, and not just how luxurious it is, but hey, if that's how you think, that's how you think right? I'm not gonna argue about it, but I guess you should take the list down if it's really troublesome for the OP. Whatever works, works! Right, someone wants to open the first page and figure out how many person owns this keyboard or that keyboard. *sarcasm* Sounds fun to me. *sarcasm* If you want people to know what keyboards you have, your sig is pretty damn fine. And you can maintain it yourself instead of asking TS to "please add me to the list". For all I know, the way it works now is that some guy bought a shiny new keyboard, either comes in and say "hey, I bought a shiny keyboard, please add me" and never to return. Or just PM-ing the TS to do the same thing and never coming in to contribute to any discussion at all. We should value discussion, and whatever value that can be added to this thread instead of telling the world how many people "was here" when he/she bought a keyboard. Another name suggestion for this thread - Pimp my mechanical keyboard! This post has been edited by kyrmian: Aug 12 2012, 11:28 AM |

QUOTE(kaysa @ Aug 13 2012, 04:49 PM) If you say why not, this this i upvote. the spacebar is irreplaceable, i still havent found the perfect keyboard yet, so far i liked ducky and das only.. used cm trigger for a week and disliked it already, at least leopold lasted a month. then if there is one reason I would say no is that the spacebar is almost irreplaceable! Other than that, Leopold is a very good keyboard. I like the detachable USB cable, that even a Realforce do not have. cm trigger, ducky and leopold has detachable usb. QUOTE(MichaelJohn @ Aug 15 2012, 08:10 PM) Same design , except well for the foam wrest for the Nighthawk.Nighthawk has more customization for their X10 Keyboards I think. QUOTE(storm88 @ Aug 15 2012, 08:17 PM) Maxkeyboard = Ione for USA market. No wonder they look the same, but cheaper is better! they are same thing, but Maxkeyboard's price tag is way much higher |
