Taobao got(but the price isn't exactly the lowest + there are also 2nd hand switches sellers out there, scare they play dirty and sell 2nd hand as new...).

Else, try to see if you can get them from armygroup/inpad. Their prices are cheaper.

BTW, just noticed that the Dragon Duck got PLAY sticker on it. LOL, PlayInterative is the new distributor of Ducky? hmm.gif

Yes, apparently P.I took over the distro-ship for Ducky. Makes it easier for warranty claim, since PI office is located in Sunway, PJ only cool2.gif

there are like 4 white switches under the kb, what's the function of them?
*
Those are additional keyboard functions, like windows key lock etc. Read the manual for further explanations. Love your kb box btw, so much nicer than mine >.>

What's BL? Oh backlight. It's not just about the BL, maybe I wasn't being clear enough. I certainly am not going through the trouble to design my own custom BL keys nor search for other types. Gimmicked? Don't think so. I went through many many different reviews and most of them are independent youtubers that also review many other products. If you go through superfreckleland's videos you know she's not affiliated with razer in any way.

Don't worry, once you are hooked with mech keyboards, you will go further by exploring other mech keyboards like Topre, Ducky, Filco, Leopold etc brows.gif

Anyway, those reviews are based on personal opinions. You should test other keyboards first before making a call blush.gif

to ducky/backlit kb owners, any of u got pbt keycaps on them? will the keycaps 'glow' if the backlit is on? my understanding is that pbt is thick, and no light can penetrate through it.  hmm.gif
*
PBT caps are rougher on the surface and the colour is more 'solid'. I believe only a minimal light can be seen, usually there is a small window for a light if they want a light to be seen from the caps.

Juz received my items from kaysa, and here is my decent customization on my Ducky Dragon smile.gif

PBT rainbow wif ABS red modifier

Here it is, PBT act glow in the dark  rclxms.gif btw this is only level 2 led brightness which still got lv3 n 4 brows.gif
[attachmentid=3023979]

Left view
[attachmentid=3023980]

Right view
[attachmentid=3023982]

I found that the PBT keycaps indeed feel more solid and nice to type on it. Love the rough surface it has  wub.gif

But unfortunately the left 'shift' from the red modifier feel a lil bit mushy compare wif stock, but the right 'shift' seems fine which I really bad things to happened  cry.gif .

p.s I really2 hate ducky keycaps puller juz now  shakehead.gif  its make the life so hard to pull off all the modifier keys aka control keys??

Alienware spotted tongue.gif

Agree on the key puller part. Ducky's key puller leaves a scratch on PBT if you look closer at the sides of the key cap once you've pulled it out :/

Btw, the seller changed his mind at the last minute, saying he wont be selling the BWU to me but keep it as a collection. Not sure thats good news for me or not. lol tongue.gif so now I have another choice in mind, CM Storm Quick Fire Pro, but I am very not sure about which switch to choose, red or brown ? Any feedback for me? icon_question.gif

You should probably test out the keys first, to be on the safe side.

Red switches are very comfortable to press, but sometimes too soft until you don't feel like you are typing on a mechanical keyboard. Brown is quite similar to red but there is a tactile feeling there. A 'click' feel when you press each key, at least it feels better. Based on my past experience.

Then again, these are all based on personal opinions. Some like the red switch, some like brown. I like both actually, but i favor more to brown, as my current switch as well thumbup.gif And for the keyboards, you should consider other keyboards too, not only CM.

But Ducky Shine cost 4xx wor, dont have that much bling bling in my pocket  sad.gif I know that kb is very nais one but... cry.gif

Yea, I read about the reviews on which switch is better, but then again same answer as you - purely on personal liking. But since it will be my first mech kb, so I really not sure which one will suit me - can't try it out coz at my place here, you tell them Ducky Shinging, they will ask you, whats that? Shining duck? Can eat one or not?  yawn.gif  You get what I mean
*
Lol. True also. Ducky Shine is one of the most comfortable keyboards I've ever used. I remember paying RM470 for the Red Switch, now it's much cheaper sweat.gif Maybe you can try off with Brown first, there's a tactile feel, but if you like pressing with ease and prefer softer keys, red is good to go.
