Generally the keycaps. Some even go for aftermart case.

More despo can even change the spring/stem of switches.

Indeed all of the mechanical keyboards with cherry switches uses the exactly same switch from cherry.

but... the PCB (printed circuit board) quality and case built quality are different.

yes, Filco might seems to have less function if compared with other flashy keyboards such as CM's or Razer's.. but have you heard of this marketing trick - "if you want to grab attention make something looks good"

I have a question and i know it existed long time ago. Just wanted to clarify things,

1)Keycool and Leopold use the same spacebar?

2)They are different in what way from other keyboards? Longer shorter?
or the '+' position is different.

3)Leopold space bars hard to find?

i think one of the difference may be the location of the stabilizers, and also the build quality

the Cream Cheese and Green doesn't fit,
2 set of PBT I have, the space bar doesn't fit,
I doubt that the sanctuary spacebar will fit or not......

all because it's "+" position doesn't fit.

That's Leopold spacebar had been bothering me,
only the Keycool spacebar can fit to it.

and ofcourse the original Leopold spacebar can fit to it too.

Been saying that IF the sanctuary key set doesn't fit,
I m getting another keyboard!

Aww make me wanna sell my Keycool 87 or just keep it as a collection.
This means I'm stuck with the Keycool printed space bar! Its not that bad but for future modding heh.

last time got a Filco, but its blue switch doesn't suit me,
so I sold it out, damn low price also..zzzZ

at least you can get rid of the Keycool logo on it!

My keycaps sets now all go on 99.99% force,
but sometime the combination of strange color spacebar make it goes 105% force !

BTW, I haven't seen a PBT spacebar for Leopold or Keycool,
wonder the Leopold FC700's spaecbar can fit to Leopold FC500RR or not...

U PIMP Your Keyboard like Pimp My Ride.
Change metal casing, change keycap, Buy ClickClack keycap, Put O-ring, Lube each swtich.....etc..endless.

and the casing alone can cost u a bomb

isn't it quite difficult to describe to measure from which point to which point?

like.... from the inner wall's side, to the middle of the first "+",
or to the side that is closer to the side that is beginning of the measurement.
