bro, i've got a question, the ducky shine comes with 4 shortcut keys for mail, my computer etc, is it possible to change this? whenever i press the mail key, windows mail comes out.... i use gmail... so the key is useless to me, is there a way to change it so that it display my gmail when i press it?

That is windows default execution for mail I guess. I dont think the keyboard can store any information regardless which key need to lauch certain program. U need to configure ur self inside the windows unless ur keyboard come wif a software that u can set each keys..

i dont think ducky keyboards has a software for that...

If I'm not mistaken, Razer don't give key cap remover because they deem it as voiding the warranty

For Ducky, 10xx is their low/entry tier products, which is cheaper. Their 90xx is their high/premium tier products, which is pricier.

Originally, there exist Ducky 1008/1087 which using Cherry MX switches, but it seems to be EOLed and replaced by 10xxXM series, which using ALPS switches(instead of Cherry MX) and also cheaper than b4.

Blue/red/brown/black means the colors and also the types of Cherry MX switches used for the keyboard, of which each having their distinct characteristics and typing feel.

Added on August 22, 2012, 1:52 amFor removing BWU's key, you better get a proper too to do it.

It is recommended to use wire style keycaps remover for it to prevent scratching of the coating.

I didn't pay much attention about Ducky before (except for their booth girls of course.),
I don't even know is there a different between a Ducky Shining and a Ducky Shine..... is there a different for those 2?

Shining = Shine, they are exactly the same thing, just some of just here prefer to refer it the other way round, LOL...

So far, PBT still hadn't coexist with backlit yet, so the answer is "NO".

Currently, Ducky with (partial) BL are Ducky Shine, Ducky G3(partial BL) and Ducky YODLE.

And I have Ducky YOTD yay! sorry over react lol

To my knowledge, no. Unless you don't remove it properly, such as using your fingers.
But my POKER have been through about 10 key changes, and I don't see it having any issues.
