If you are good at soldering, you can take out the LED from the PCB board,
then change them to the color you want.

QUOTE(kaysa @ Aug 14 2012, 05:56 PM) If you are good at soldering, Is there no alternative than changing the LED? Btw nowdays most of gaming peripherals especially mice like steelseries sensei, Razer mamba have the option to change the LED color. Usually they have an option for 16M color via provided software which shud be fun to do. So is there some trick behind this kind of technology? can we apply it to the mecha keyboard instead of changing the LED one by one?you can take out the LED from the PCB board, then change them to the color you want. Added on August 14, 2012, 6:18 pmBtw where can i find a good keycap puller coz the ducky one is not so practical to use as it can damage n scratch the keycaps and why the hell they made keycaps puller like that btw This post has been edited by dragorc: Aug 14 2012, 06:18 PM |

I think that one they have RGB LEDs to make up all kind of colours, then use reflector to reflect the light rays evenly... I think Alienware keyboard also uses this method... Not sureAdded on August 14, 2012, 6:18 pmBtw where can i find a good keycap puller coz the ducky one is not so practical to use as it can damage n scratch the keycaps and why the hell they made keycaps puller like that btw Not sure if Cyclone is selling the Leopold keypuller alone... I want to buy Razer BlackWidow. probably use it for gaming only. is it good? or should I buy a more expensive keyboard/different brands? my budget would be around USD 100 - 150.

As far as I know, PBT material is not capable of transparency. That's why all backlit board are equipped with ABS translucent key caps.same goes for double shot key caps.. where only ABS material can be easily made into. in short Strengths: ABS - Cheap, capable of translucent, capable of double shot PBT - Durable, high heat resistant Weakness: ABS - less durable, low heat resistant PBT - expensive, non translucent, not capable of double shot. Bro backlited PBT keycaps actually exist which I oso red mostly ppl say quite impossible. U can check the Deck legend keyboard, they made a backlited kb wif PBT keycaps especially the model deck ice one..same goes for double shot key caps.. where only ABS material can be easily made into. in short Strengths: ABS - Cheap, capable of translucent, capable of double shot PBT - Durable, high heat resistant Weakness: ABS - less durable, low heat resistant PBT - expensive, non translucent, not capable of double shot. bro, this is mechanical keyboard thread instead of gaming keyboard thread. any requirements you need? like switch preference, full size/TKL, backlit, other options Added on August 15, 2012, 4:00 am QUOTE(mrkenn @ Aug 15 2012, 03:12 AM) Can someone recommend me a gaming keyboard which is spill-resistant with rm 100 budget?
