Was watching Ch433 just now (Fox Movies HD) and subtitle was available

Yeah? Weird.. Actually, not most but all HD channel doesn't have subtitle. It does have subtitle choice but no subtitle merge at the screen. I'll try to confirm back again with my brother.

I downloaded a few series couple of days ago but when I decided to watch, one of the video is unable to play.

No error message whatsoever, I clicked "watch" but there's no response. Other recorded files ok no problem wonder what is the issue here, hard disk got problem?

Hi, just want to ask, i just bought an astro Beyond dish.. Can it connected with old decoder.? Or need the beyond decoder also.??

Yes, you can hook it with old decoder. (since it's just the dish)

Try setting the Subtitle Options in Main Byond Menu....

Decoder software not updated?

No Asteruk in front of me now. Nevermind, will try once I subscribe next week.

How come not update? Decoder never turned off...

Dunno. Last time also got people complaint no update the software in certain case.

Anyone experience this before? Not able to watch after recorded?

Ive upgraded to PVR recently. Im stayin in a condo and we are using a centralised dish. All channels seems fine but whenever im on a HD channel and switch back to another SD channel i dont seem to get transmission. I need to wait for some time or even reboot to get those SD channels.Any idea?

Your centralized dish was single LNB. You should use at least Dual LNB for your dish since PVR is having 2 tuner.

It's nice to know that History HD comes with Subtitle.
But what about Star World HD. Does it come with subtitles as well?

Hi,
Anyone encounter after recorded the Fox HD Movie...play the movie with subtitle BM...a few minutes later the subtitle disapear.
Need to forward and rewind in order to get back the subtitle play along with movie.
But yet, after a few min, it disapear again.

Anyone encounter?

I have similar experience. When i forward/rewind too much, the sub tittle will be disappear. Usually i just stop the program, and play it back, then reset the sub tittle. It will just goes back to normal.

BM & Chinese subtitles just added today on Star World HD and Nat Geo HD.

Is Disney XD (617) available in the family package ?

I didn't subscribe to the 'fun/cartoon' subpackage but I can see the channel.

But I am subscribed to HD channels ie. I get to see Disney XD HD (637).


Can anyone without HD channels and without fun/cartoon package confirm for me ?

Yes. Both SD and HD one are available on basic one. (Hopefully Astro didn't put the HD one into fun package later on)

The HD channels are only available if you pay rm 20 more.

So the SD channel is in family package and NOT fun package ? Thanks for info.
