Hi.  I am new to this forum.  I wonder if anyone else is experiencing a problem which I am currently having.  Would appreciate if someone can share the solution.

I am subscribed to Astro Byond with HD.  After recording any HD show on the PVR, and playing back to watch, I experienced frequent interruption to the show.  The show just freezes like it went into pause, then resume.  The interruption can be very frequent, about 10 to 20 times in an hour show.  Each interruption can last for about 2 seconds to even about 2 minutes.

This problem did not arise when I got the PVR in Feb 2011.  It’s only started about 3 months ago.   I wonder why this is so.  The hard disc is only about 25% recorded.

Yes. Both SD and HD one are available on basic one. (Hopefully Astro didn't put the HD one into fun package later on)

One should be tvN HD (has since been rebranded as Channel M as of 24rd November 2012), a Korean channel.

Good luck requesting for BBC through Assteruk. Assteruk hates BBC, claims no one watch. And now BBC not in very good term with Assteruk after they found out Assteruk butcher their news channel...

. It's only available on TM and DETV at the moment, but most likely ABN will also have it. And on TM it's delayed 5 minutes for censorship also...

IPTV from Redtone, only popular among Chinese people since it mainly carries China channels, but in it's handful of non-Chinese channels it has CNA. Still alive because it has a small but loyal group of subscribers, and because it isn't ISP-locked. You can plug the decoder into Streamyx, P1, UniFi, etc, and it will still work.

Hmmm, Just checked their website, CNA no longer listed >.< But it's still listed on the CNA page at Wikipedia >.<

Anyways, you know you can watch CNA on www.hypp.tv even if you don't have UniFi? The www.hypp.tv IPTV is a stripped down version of TM IPTV meant for Streamyx users, dun have a lot of channels that is on TM IPTV, but they're still carrying FashionTV SD (which has been dropped from TM IPTV- TM IPTV now only carries FashionTV HD) and they do have CNA.

guys can u post all the channel of astro including the numbers? the one in the official site has the channel but not the channel number. I want to print it for my dad.. like a list. thanks

Hi everyone.
Currently Im having a problem with my Astro PVR Decoder.
Each time when I change to a channel,it takes few seconds(more than 5 seconds sometimes).
My decoder still have 80 hours of empty space.
Another problem is when i watch some of the recorded program. Sometimes it will stuck and wont play smoothly.
Hence i have to forward it till the program run as normal. And there are few times its just stuck like that where I couldn't forward it at all.
Anyone encounter similar problem like this..?

Hi! I wanna ask, how to reduce the response time of the beyond controller?
When I want to change a channel, press a number the light will blink few times before I can press another one. It was not like this before....

Correction - cantonese includes 311 and soon to be in HD 310.

Actually 308 is the previous 310 HD channel. They just excluded those programmes aired in 311. So there's actually no addtional channel but just that we can watch 311 in HD this coming 13th.

Btw, last time 309 HD is free for those subscribing to Beyond. Why did they take it out?

Ic.. 309 is a Chinese movie channel which is the version of Celestial 322 HD.
