I heard there is a different between Asteruk Byond and Byond HD. I'm planning to subscribe Asteruk as I don't have other choice here. So, is there any different between above package? Thanks...

QUOTE(zeone @ Nov 22 2012, 08:20 PM) IINM Std Byond is w/o HD reception enabled...only SD Channels.... Byond HD is c/w HD Channels...either in Superpacks or with xtra subs for HD. Pls refer to Bro jamesleetech's post earlier... Haiya... I miss bro james post ler... I noted most HD channel doesn't have sub right? So, I think it's kinda a waste for me to subscribe HD. And still can use the RCA cable. *sigh* Obly if my place able to install Streamyx. BTW, what's wrong with Asteruk website? DDOS attack?

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Nov 23 2012, 02:23 AM) Was watching Ch433 just now (Fox Movies HD) and subtitle was available Yeah? Weird.. Actually, not most but all HD channel doesn't have subtitle. It does have subtitle choice but no subtitle merge at the screen. I'll try to confirm back again with my brother.

Hi guys... I'm not sure if it's allowed to ask this question here. I stay at rural, and finding Astro signal here are pain in the ass. The only place that have signal is at my friend's satellite dish location. I'm on Byond HD and my friend on Byond SD. My question:
-Can we share his satellite dish with coax splitter? -If we share, will the signal be effected? I read at Youtube there will be signal lost, some say need to buy higher frequency to avoid signal or quality issue. And I even read the signal can't transmit SD and HD at the same time. -Let's say it's okay to share, where can I found this at Lowyat.Net? I'm at Miri, prefer buy online. Finding rare item at electronic shop will be wasting time and make me mad. -Is there any degree or location for installing the satellite dish? I heard some say yes but most people will randomly set the dish. I installed one at my hometown blindly but at my current place now, no luck so far.
Thanks...

QUOTE(asellus @ Apr 9 2013, 01:08 PM) Assuming that your dish is correctly installed, then you should mow down whatever trees or poles or any thing that block the line-of-sight between the dish and the satellite. No trees, poles or building. LNB changed too.

QUOTE(asellus @ Apr 9 2013, 02:54 PM) Then it is safe to assume that your dish isn't properly installed (I have seen enough diabolical dish installations that can cause 'service unavailable' message to appear when a slow breeze happens), the wiring between LNB-decoder isn't fitted perfectly or maybe decoder problem. Using a coax splitter isn't going to work. Especially for Beyond! Too bad. Seems like I need to find the sweet spot or else pay for nothing.
