Yes, I can confirm that there is nothing wrong with your Byond decoder. Also for my Byond, exactly like what is happening to you and Smileguy, started very early this morning, I think at about 3 am 19-09-12.
I am guessing so I suspect As*teruk is making some technical changes to the smartcard encrypted software or doing some tests on their satellite transmission which caused the "wrong smartcard" message and blank screen which lasts about 1 second. No need to touch any buttons on the remote... the message will disappear and the channel will then return to normal. Happened many times in 1 hour from 5 am to 6 am, each time lasting only a short while.
Phoned to a few of my friends (late sleepers) and they also noticed the same thing happen. Hmm... I am sure As*teruk Customer Support today will be hit by many phone calls from many subscribers who thought their Byond boxes have problem, so no need for me to phone As*teruk because I think I will get a "busy" line, hehe.
