There goes the annoying 6code in Asstro. Previously all sport channels, asstro first & asstro best in Astro got this "treatment" too... Time would tell when will HBO HD & Sundance HD would be "infected"... rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif
Mmm... not sure... is the 6code appear sometimes only ? Maybe will see it later... hehe.

Checked at 02:20 am 16-09-12, did not see the 6code for HBO, HBO HD, FMP, FMP HD and Cinemax. I did not subscribe to Astro First and Astro Best.

Astro didn't set up the codes to run 24/7 yet. Usually, after afternoon it'll be back just like all astroll sport channels one.

Okok. How many/which channels have Catch up TV function? I notice that some offer two hour rewind maximum (i.e. if you're 15 minutes late for a show, you can rewind 15 minutes to the start, but if the show is over two hours ago, no chance of getting it already).
I've seen some hilarious translation errors on RTM/MP channels before, but one would think Assteruk would be much more professional...

As for BM audio, I'm a purist. I rather watch show in original language than dubbed to BM/BI. Why I hate TV2 right now- IMO it's idiotic to dub Disney cartoons to BM, especially since most kids nowadays understand English (and if not, it will drive them to at least learn English as a second language, a much needed skill in a world where English is the language of business and science).

example of catch up tv function on hypptv, can choose past show ( within one week)

only channel with this header hv catchup tv function

mio TV launches Astro Prima

The best and latest Malay drama and movies from Malaysia and the region

Singapore, 13 September, 2012 – Singapore Telecommunications Ltd (SingTel) today announced the launch of Astro Prima on mio TV Channel 602. Astro Prima is the network leader for quality Malay programming, airing the latest top-rated shows from around the region.

The channel will air from 1 October and it will feature the latest drama series, telemovies and movies. The well-recognised Astro Prima will provide a much enhanced variety of programmes from the channel it replaces – Astro Aruna.

Together with Astro Ria and Astro World, mio TV offers viewers an incomparable array of Malay programming. Astro Ria offers the best reality shows, lifestyle programmes, comedy series and other magazine shows from Malaysia, many of them simulcast. The on-demand channel, Astro World, will have enriched offerings with a wider selection of current top titles from Astro Ria and Astro Prima for customers who missed the original telecast of their favourite programmes.

Mr Goh Seow Eng, SingTel’s Managing Director of Television, said: “We have listened to the feedback from our customers and are delighted to further enhance our comprehensive Malay line-up on mio TV with Astro Prima. Our customers can now catch their favorite artistes like Aliff Aziz, Adira, Randy Pangalila and Elfira Loy on screen at the same time as their overseas counterparts.”

Headlining the programme line-up for Astro Prima will be the eagerly anticipated drama series, ‘Dalam Hati Ada Taman’. Starring Randy Pangalila and Elfira Loy, it tells the story of the daughter of a failed businesswoman who is forced by her mother to make a decision on who she wants to marry. Catch ‘Dalam Hati Ada Taman’ on Astro Prima every Tuesday at 11pm from 30 October.

Another fan favorite for the month of October will be the drama series ‘Tiara’. Starring Adira, the runner-up of Astro’s Akademi Fantasia, the series tells of the tragic love story between Tiara and Kamal. Fans of Singapore-born actor Aliff Aziz can also catch him in action on the show. ‘Tiara’ airs on Mondays to Thursdays at 9pm from 22 October.

Rounding out the entertainment offering, Astro Prima will also feature well-received series from around the region such as the Tagalog drama, “Destined Hearts”. This will be the first time the Emmy and 2010 Asian TV Award-nominated series will be aired in Singapore with Malay subtitles and viewers can catch it every weekday at 6pm.

Well, I've already got a digital TV. (I think) If not, I'll have to get a box right?

Hi all,

I wonder if anyone has this problem..This only happening recently..I have 2 separate astro byond decoders...i realised recently when i m changing channels, there is huge lag...

Meaning, when I press the button on the control, it takes like 1 or seconds to appear on the tv...sometimes even when i pressed many times, it will not appear or change channels..sometimes just gotta like let it cool down...wait for a couple of minutes then able to change channel again..

This is happening to both decoders, I have done the following :

1) bought a new remote
2) new batteries
3) restarted the decoders..

BUt to no avail..is this Astro's problem or decoder? hope u guys can assist.

KRU as yet to copy Cicak Man from film sources to HD... so the movie delivered to Disney is already letterboxed..
If disney obtained Cicak Man in HD, they will adjust the video to make the text 4:3 compatible.

And it has started. Assteruk destroying Disney XD with local crap also....

And you can't get any lower than a KRU movie (for those who don't remember, KRU was the main proponent of the filesharing blockage).

The irony thing is, there's (HD) Blu-ray version of it, yet somehow Disney only got the SD one... hmm.gif

I think Disney XD in Malaysia programming is done by Assthrow. Where the hell Cicak Man is so popular in Disney? If so, we can see Cicak Man mascot in US Disneyland. Assthrow is killing Disney channel and in order to save cost, since this channel is in Family package, use SD source to telecast in HD channel.

Well, I don't have the Cartoon channels of Nickolodean, Disney and Cartoon Network. But with this FREE Disney XD channel now, it is good for my kids to enjoy some cartoon shows such as Spiderman, Ironman and some other Disney's movies such as Kung Fu Panda etc.

Better than nothing at all.

Since when is Kung-Fu Panda a Disney movie? shocking.gif shakehead.gif

Don't get me wrong, Dreamworks movies are good, and sometimes better than Pixar, but Disney Channel is not the place for them- they belong on Nickelodeon.

Added on September 18, 2012, 9:47 amLooks like ESPN STARSPORTS no longer carry LIVE UEFA Champions League matches anymore.

No wonder they never show the LIVE TELECAST of the Champions League Draws recently as what they did in previous years !!!
