today when i took out the memory card and insert it back, the memory card name change to Storage Card2.

Anyone know what happend? and how to change it back? all my install program with the short cut key, now cannot run.

switch off your pda. then take out ur memory card, and reinsert back. then switch on your pda. check and see if this works. I just encounter this last week and thatz wat i've done.

Guys, I need to enlist some help here. My Dopod 818pro 's batterydied bacause I did not charge it for over a week. Now when I attempt to charge it again, its not charging. Somehow, the phone is not detecting the charger. It used to charge fine while there is still battery life. Please help. I feel like throing my phone into the rubbish dump.

ur battery can last u a week? try charging it for a nite and see how. if still cannot, best to buy another battery. that one maybe spoilt edi.

Thanks for the tip Jeve.... I just turned the bloody charger on and off for about half an hour before it finally started charging again... I believe you're right, the phone needs some power to jump start the charging mechanism. Bad news mates, looks like I won't be throwing the phone away afterall.
Oh and another thing... Have you guys noticed that PDAs like the O2 mini get better reception compared to the Dopod 818?

should be the build in antena, 1 should open the Atom and compare both antena.

i jus wana inform that a software called pPod can produce superb sound for our dopod,nice clarity,n also try pocket music for bass.
i use the 2.5 to 3.5 connector,n apply my sony headphone.sound superb.waaayyyy better than the original earpiece.
jus give this information for yall audio kaki.
