For those who want to upgrade here r the instruction:

Guide from xda-developer.

My experiment:

1. Boot into boot loader screen ( the screen with red, green blue colour ). ( soft reset and keep pressing the camera button )

2. Then connect it to pc (usb). Make sure the active sync is connected. ( i'm using XP Pro with Active Sync 4.5, heard from ppl that Vista will cause some problem, please also make sure ur pc never ran from stand by or hibernate.)

3. Run ROMUpdateUtility_NV_G3.exe ( for phone ipl and spl end with .0000) , or ROMUpdateUtility_NV_G4.exe ( for phone ipl and spl end with .00001). http://rapidshare.com/files/32728615/Proph...AViet_Step1.zip - password: PDAVIET

PLEASE MAKE SURE U SELECT THE RIGHT ROM UPDATE UTILITY OR U WILL BRICKS UR PHONE.

4. Just follow ur on screen, should be click next and next and next.

5. It takes less than 2 minits in my case and the phone hard reset by it self. Calibrate the screen tap.. tap... and u r on with ROM 2.20.7.34.

6. Then installed the Prophet_4.0.0.0.1_PV rom by running Upgrade_ROM.bat from the computer. http://rapidshare.com/files/32714434/WM6_P...et_v4.0.0.1.zip - password: PDAVIET

7. this time it take longer, just wait. dun touch anything.

8. When the CMD prompt finish it will ask you to hard reset your phone. ( camera button + voice command button and power button ).

You are done.

Hope you all enjoy

ya, if u oc battery will drain faster. i used omapclock to oc to 240, did make a difference to battery life.

thanks for ur guide & links, will try later.

so how's wm6?
*
well i could said that WM6 is faster and smooth ( without overclock ) than the previous WM5. Some added security like SD card encryption etc. The entire looks is much better.

the a2dp bluetooth stereo patch is already patch, so now you could listen to musi with ur stereo bluethooth headset.

sound quality have a little improvement from the front speaker, could be some registry trick there then.

the cons is some old software are not compatible with with.

since it is not an official rom, it has some minor bugs but there ar alll acceptable.

like:

SD card - sometimes u need to remove and connect it back.

Battery - drain a little faster.

Shutdown buton - only put your screen off. ( there are already a bug fix for this,
will copy to here later)

the wireless icon sometimes need to click twice for it to switch.

so far that all i encounter.

for those who tested it, please share as well.
tq
