Where do you introduce us this piece of software? Any available site to recommend?

I wonder the pPod i found on the net is the same as the one hansapkuay were refering to... anywae, for those who wish to use it, itz a freeware and you can dload it from Lifehacker's Download of the day's Blog

btw, my 818 pro often hangs when it on standby mode and the screen is off. i need to take out the battery and reinsert again and on the pda. anyone kena this b4? maybe itz time for PDAViet's 4.0.0.3 firmware edi..

The 4.0.0.4 is out and the Today is kinda HTC Touch style, which, sorry to say, not to my liking.

check ur SD card thru a card reader with ur computer. if there's no content either, then ur data's bye bye edi.

Ya, i know the data's gone, but how to get back the folder structure? How does the device create these folders the 1st time?

just use ur stylus and reset the device.

1 thing i encounter, if you need to use car charger or main dc charger, u need to have the active syncronise thing to be active 1st b4 u can charge.

my way:

use usb cable to activate the syncronise 1st unplug and u could use either dc or car charger.

hi guys i just got my Dopod 818pro 2days ago so hope you guys can teach me something.

1) how to set ringtone and vibrate for incoming call?
2) my program memory is keep going down but there is no program running, sometime it when down to only 2mb free.

really need some help and hope you guys can give me a hand. please

go to Settings -> Phone -> Ring Type

there you can select vibrate and ring OR vibrate then ring

hey...im new here...but not exactly new user...but heck dunno much lo bout this stuff...anyhuu ya know my sound broke down twice oleday...now no sound at all....hampeh btol....the 1st time i dropped the thing..so...heheheh....ok la rosak the sound...send it to the manufacturer for three weeks under warranty to fix it....then it broke down again...this time around.... it suddenly broke down afta i received a message ... it was on vibrate.....heh...so mls lo mau send it back to the manufacturer...cant live without it..hahahha...the last time was devastating...having no dopod for almost a month....die...

any thoughts about this

second time it broke <== could be they repaired for you but something is loose there

well thanks for the thought shock.....problem solved actually...
i finally hv guts to bukak the dopod..n found that the speaker was actuallya bit loose...heh...i paid lotsa dime to fixed it for the 1st time...and they dilevered back a low quality svs....ngehh....im thinking abt upgrading my speaker.....

erm im looking for a leather dopod holder?? any suggestion??

why so fast want to sell off? Give it a little more time to try to get used to it. You can ask questions here if you don't know how to use the phone.

For example, making calls (including searching for contacts) and type SMS by just using one hand.

wah. so i was right that something was loose there. would opening it yourself void the warranty, btw?

upgrading speaker you say? where to do that? at SIS?

yah...give 818 a chance la..u'll love it once u get used to the phone..

SMS with 1 hand? How? I tried with the phone pad. Didnt quite work the way i wanted it to be.

It is ok for me. Pretty good for quick SMS replies.

Also, I do know there are 3rd party virtual k/b software that can make it even easier to type single-handedly.

hahaha... I actually managed to do that when my 818 Pro was still in the WM5 Rom (very useful when I was driving ). But then, when I've upgrade the firmware to WM6, there's no more keypad for entering text anymore.

EDIT: Btw, I've got 2 new games here which I think it's kinda fun for some boring moments. They're Pool Rebel and High Seas: Guns & Golds.
