it will take sometime before the WM6 is considered complete. The PDAViet at the moment is considered on of the cleanest and most stable ROM now... Maybe they'll reach "perfection" soon.

bro, no offence to you but then, there's been a few post before this pages which has mentioned of what we had installed to our 818 Pro. Read up and you'll get a rough idea of what to get for your Dopod.

As how to install, allow me to explain:

Installing .exe files/applications:
1. Connect your 818 Pro to your computer via USB, Infra-Red or any other method wireless or wired.
2. Makes sure activesync connects to your 818 Pro.
3. Double click on the .exe file of the appz you wish to install in your computer.
4. Follow the installation instruction.
5. After a while, the activesync will inform you to follow the instruction on your 818 Pro in install your appz.
6. Follow the instruction on your 818 Pro and select which memory you wish the appz to reside on.
7. let the installation proceed and you'll be done in no time.

Installing .cab file/applications:
1. Copy the .cab file to your memory card via activesync, memory card reader or other wireless or wired method.
2. Use any of your file explorer to locate the .cab file in your memory card.
3. Tap the .cab file.
4. Let the installation proceed.
5. Choose the memory you wish for your appz to reside on.
6. Let the installation continues and you'll be done in no time.

Note: There are some appz which are not intended for your current WM version or they're written before your current WM version. Installing these appz will prompt you that these appz will not display properly. Do not worry. Test it out, if they can't display properly, just uninstalls it.

and where can get a casing to protect the screen from calar?

there's screen protector which is very common and easily found in various handphone shops or gadget shops. Shop around and you'll be able to finds it.

For the rm player, try realplayer... I'm not sure if te Core player can use or not. try it out if u wan.

when u buy new dopod, it become 2 stylus in standard package..

u can only do it in the settings of respective appz. or maybe u can hack the registry.

u sure or not? I've no problem using the preinstalled IE and the response is not that slow leh...
