Hmm I don't get it, the developer closed down the site, and now they are trying to create a new one? What?

Its not like that. Actually the one responsible is the owner of the site. He owns the domain n everything related to the webpage. The site developer got no power to stop him. Therefore, the site closed without any further notice or any objection from the developer. Many were left hanging with the sudden closure. That's why they are trying to revive the site in new domain. Also they maybe have to change the name/logo of CGHub cuz its owned by the previous domain.

I see now lol, I'm confused on the owner developer part. sweat.gif

Should I get an Intuos Pen medium or small? I'm afraid the active area of the small one is not enough for me as I tend to do big gesture when drawing. But is it worth the double price for a bigger size? Hmm.

Or should I skip Intuos Pen and go straight to Intuos Pro? Oh wait its out of my budget. sweat.gif

I think it depend on whether u want to carry it around, wacom table can last  basically forever and wont spoil. (just the pen nib, need to change).

I see, now I'm in dilemma about the pressure sensitivity, is 1024 enough? Man oh man.

dont worry too much about that, the most important thing is still whether u want to bring it everywhere biggrin.gif
I have friends that use wacom graphire/bamboo and still doing awesome work.

Alot of ppl will go for the medium size, if the wacom is always just put on table. I am using the medium size too, the large one, is abit too big, i find it hard to draw with that. Have to move your arm

This basically covers it.

Simple Blending by *sandara

Note you can blend with any brush as long as it has ragged/softened edges, depending on what you're trying to accomplish. 0% hardness airbrush gives a super smooth blend, while more textured brushes give... well, texture.

Like, my brush for blending skin is a stippled, bristly brush that looks like real brushstrokes when painted.
*
Oh wow, I've always been blending like this, I dont know the professional is doing this too, so there is no tool, just use brush. Ok got it.

I know right, yes, some of them missing their passion and some of the already artblock for a long time and some of them haz real life things to do..

REALITY IS SCARY

I think I'm going to inactive also.....

I better do something or I'll never draw anything if I wait longer =___="

I know you use mobile apps for drawing, anything can recommend?

I use Samsung Tab3 now..or I need to change to another phone? huhu
*
Ikr. ohmy.gif

Hmm last time I use Autodesk Sketchbook Pro for tablet, the recent one is Artflow, it is definitely better than ASP, custom canvas size for free version, paid version give u more stuff. But then again I think I like ASP's interface more. I keep them both btw. It's been more than 3 months since I touch my tablet, now that I got my intuos pen, I dont I'll use the tablet for digital sketch anymore (even the intuos is rarely used rclxub.gif)

Lol u mean tablet, sorry quite tired fail comprehension. I dont have any idea about this because I dont have much knowledge in gadgets and stuff, Samsung Tab 3 is good enough, or better get the big Note 3. Ipads are also good, they are faster and more responsive than android devices. thumbup.gif

Personally I just am really busy with some book and magazine cover commissions which for various reasons I cannot post here lol

I try to keep in touch with art by occasionally going out to the park and do some landscape sketching. Still practicing art, but different enough that it keeps my interest and motivation high.

it's a bad thing if you allow too many things to make you procrastinate. It's harder to pick up the habit again after super long breaks, unless you are dedicated enough to do it.
*
Very true, the longer u leave it, the harder for u to get to it again! Keyword is consistency. U are awesome with ur own way on keeping it up!
