The cliche answer is deviantart.com, but it's the most prominent platform. With your skill level and favorite subjects, you can become noticeable in no time if you mingle with the community a bit(find your favorite artists and comment on them, join a group, offer a few slots for 'requests' which are basically you drawing for free, post in the forums at least once a day, etc).

The other platform that I know is pixiv.net. You don't need to know complicated Japanese. Kinda hard to explain, so you should try yourself.

For a less 'show-off' platform and more 'professional/lifelong learning' one, go to conceptart.org. Guys there are harsh critics, but be brave, follow community guidelines, and create a thread showing your daily artworks. Ignore the insults, take what makes sense, and be patient. Eventually you'll come across real industry players who might be interested in using you for their commercial projects.

As for your religion.... isn't your bank account yours? You do know that I get to see your name through there.  laugh.gif

Oh hahahahahha

Yea bro, good points! thumbup.gif

Yeah deviantart is the commonplace, a starting point I would say.

I'm 9 years in and only from last December I start getting income from dA.
Like jamilselamat said, its slow, but will eventually pay off in the long run.
Quickest way to go up the ladder is by involving in huge project. Like games or comics etc.

I'm planning to make my own game as I learn from the job I'm doing now. I just hope my passion can fuel me till that time. biggrin.gif

hmm.gif How to join such project?

I got that shit for free with my Intous Draw. Thought I'd start drawing more since I'll be using an actually legit/legal copy....

...But my already poor drawing skills take a deeper dive whenever I try to draw seriously with a tablet. The strokes just won't come out as accurately as I'd like and I'd end up pressing the undo button dozens of times before I can finally get ONE stroke right.

I can't draw at my best unless it's direct-contact, but I'm poor and I refuse to take a loan for Cintiq, so I've been sticking to traditional art for drawing animu and use my tablet for multimedia projects instead.
*
Btw dude, u are being too hard on urself, I think ur drawing is not bad at all, I think they are pretty good, if u keep on drawing Im pretty sure u are going to be really good.

QUOTE(drpsyko @ Dec 4 2016, 06:01 PM)
Yeah, it takes a long time to make the tablets behave like your own fingers.
For me, I can't even replicate 70% of my powers on tablets. laugh.gif
*
Drawing is not only using finger, its the thought process thingy, what u wanna do to that canvas, its more on ur eyes than ur fingers, thats why there are people that can even draw using their foot.

Of course u cant replicate the feel of pencil and paper into digital drawing, but digital drawing has tonnes of tools to compensate that drawback, making it easier to fix ur drawing than using traditional medium, make use of the tools provided! Im saying u can do 100% of ur power on tablet

Yup, nose is off. It's too far to the right side of her face. Traced a bit of facial structure to show:

Have you tried doing the "Flip Horizontal" refresh trick? Easy way to check for mistakes when a painting looks "off" is to flip it 180-degrees so you see it mirror or upside down.

Makes it easier to spot mistakes that would have skipped when look at the painting as you drew it to be.

QUOTE(seba @ Dec 21 2013, 11:34 PM)
Wow thanks! Knew it, but lazy to erase it all and ultimately left it as it is. Nope I didnt aware of that trick though I've seen the masters did it often in their speedpaint videos, haha.

Would like to know your view on the shading too.
