I never have Lego, not until recently. After a while, i notice the old Lego is so much cheaper in ebay. So just went for it. I am surprised a 1983 set, still give the same kind of satisfactory with the current sets. thumbup.gif

Oh thats suprising. I thought the initial jab of "poison" was applied when we were kids. Until now start ketagih again. hehehe.

My first jab was set 6656. I believe our endearment to vintage sets are due to nostalgic factor. One of these days I'm gonna bricklink all required parts and build my favorite (but failed to acquire) sets from the 80s.

Yup, i m pretty much a late adopter/convert. From a small town, those days, the usual "toys" we were exposed to , were self-made. I NEVER seen lego, not until secondary school, and it was for a glimpse. Some neighbour kid got it. Not sure was lego brand either.

Lego pretty much skipped years of my life , not until 2 years back when i started to buy Duplo for my boy & it was so darn expensive for few pieces of brick mad.gif

i refused to buy Lego not until this april, when the wife went and bought Lego 4635 for the kid...that's the catalyst sweat.gif

Btw 6656 - Ebay
