Lego Digital Designer -> LDD to POVRAY converter -> POVRAY to render

the nicest setting takes forever to render on my i5 processor (few hours for a 1920x1080)
so now i lower the quality and render 1280x720.

Thats a bit too harsh ... LEGO clones are still decent building blocks, albeit the lower quality (pay peanuts, get monkeys).  Considering the price of LEGO , its a bit risky for retailers not to offer similar alternative so consumers can easily decide and checkout. its mostly about profit.

Hopefully with the competitive building block toys filling the shelves and posing threat to LEGO... maybe our local distributor can smarten up and review their pricing when the malls refusing to take in more stock due to poor reception. Either way , I will patiently wait for their warehouse sale. God I miss the ex LEGO distributor texchem and their sales.
