And I have 14 wall parts to be exact. 10 from sets, 4 bought loose. They are stacked together for twice the height though. One wall by itself is WAY too short to indicate an impregnable fortress to me. Definitely still not quite there length wise, though. May need at least a good 10 or 12 more to fully simulate the scene I have in mind. God that sounds expensive enough already.Added on August 13, 2012, 4:51 pm Very nice series esp for kid |

QUOTE(dilvin @ Aug 13 2012, 09:47 AM) Good analysis there. Rationally, the price should be cheaper inside LM as compared to Msia's RRP. Otherwise, visitors would complaint why would they buy things inside LM. But another view would be, the main income is from entrance fee and not retailing. LM might even argue, their shops has more variety or exclusive products only available inside LM. (That will also help TLG to jaga hati ALJ ). Hence the price is same as RRP As for exclusive sets, so far I see it is stuff like stationary, t-shirts, clothing, towels etc. I do not know if there is any sets which are exclusive to Legoland itself. There is however exclusive bricks based on certain special events. For us AFOL the main stuff we want is mainly for the bricks or sets only. I wonder how much are they going to charge for the pick a brick. If the price comes up more expensive than buying a modular building might as well buy a modular building for parts. I will seriously compare the RM/kg of a modular to that of the pick a brick. Unless of course they have rare colors like the green from green grocer (unlikely) or Maersk blue (more unlikely). i really not sure. i just go a bad vibe, nothing will be cheap inside LM One thing for sure, if it is cheaper than RRP, the scalpers will made a weekly (even daily) trip to LM and more online blogshops/shops/threads will suddenly appear after september 15th. Whoever is going, please help to report on its prices I foresee those retailers in Singapore will make a major killing if the price inside LM is expensive. Oh, anyone will predict the mad rush to the Big shop at opening time to picit-picit all the Series 7? |

Nice and simple design, but looks good. But maybe you can modify the fridge a little? I think it looks slightly awkward for some reason. But really job well done there. of course, dint have to script anything, just convert and render nia result: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

I'm a little skeptical with the Pick A Brick, since they're going to charge by weight instead of per cup, from the info they've released. Hopefully they reverse the decision on that.I foresee those retailers in Singapore will make a major killing if the price inside LM is expensive. Oh, anyone will predict the mad rush to the Big shop at opening time to picit-picit all the Series 7? As for prices in Legoland, I believe they're going to be Singaporean prices, simply because Legoland caters to Singaporeans. |

There are too many parts in LEGO inventory, not to mention colors as well. I personally would be very much contented if they offer an average of 20 - 25 sen per part for common parts. As for prices in Legoland, I believe they're going to be Singaporean prices, simply because Legoland caters to Singaporeans. |

Does anyone have the rough idea how much per piece for the sets (regardless of size/theme) selling in our local stores?20 sen used to get me a very tasty nasi lemak bungkus |

QUOTE(dilvin @ Aug 14 2012, 10:21 AM) Does anyone have the rough idea how much per piece for the sets (regardless of size/theme) selling in our local stores? Have to separate into licensed and non-licensed set , still. Licensed set hits a wallet-squeezzing 50 sen per piece on average. The rest mostly lingers around 35 - 40 sen. LEGO company LOVE to introduce huge part into the set to justify their 40 sen per piece . Just look at the dino theme. Each dino figure "contributes" to the set , lessening the number of actual parts . And lets look at the Creator motorcycle, just by having 2 big tyres inside... the parts count become <200 for rm100 (assuming 10% discount). I don't want to talk about overpriced ninjago vehicles either that (again) contains 2 or more HUGE tyres. 20 sen used to get me a very tasty nasi lemak bungkus |
