- iPod Classic >FiiO L9> looking for a headphone portable amplifier as well, currently considering the upcoming FiiO E12 or E17
- Strictly music
- Any format will do as long as they are not Justin Bieber songs
- Everything except Metal songs and Justin Bieber songs
- Over-ear
- I do not want any colouration, I want songs to be played as much neutral as possible
- Around Rm2000/400GBP as I am in UK now

There are too many headphones out there for me to choose within this price range. I am currently eyeing on AKG Q701 & K701/2, Sennheiser HD600/650, Beyerdynamic T70 & DT990, HiFiMAN HE-400 and many others

or you can just recommend me the source (i didnt buy ipod yet), the dac/amp and the headphone combination around rm3000

i got a question guys, recently i went to jaben and tried out a few headphones and earphones. One thing that struck me was when i listened to the dt231,TAD300,Goldring dr100 and the beyer XP1,2,3. I had this problem.

At certain parts of a song it would be ear piercingly sharp, and when I use the beyer XP series the songs I played were so piercingly sharp that I couldn't hear the lyrics. The songs I tested with was "Catch my breath" and "Closer to the edge".

I'm not sure if it was the song but when I switched from the beyer xp series to the dt231 it was like 300x better. Is it the earphones are a bit damaged or is it the songs? Tried it from an Iphone4s and a Galaxy S3 can someone give me some input on this?

Because honestly I don't think it should be having these problems because I never read anything about what's happening to me pop up in forums. Is it the treble is too much and I need to reduce it with an EQ? I used a dunu trident and the sharp and screechy sound wasn't there like the beyer xp series had.

Planning to get headphones in February so would like some advice.

HI situs,

I'm new to audiophile gear, i need some advise.

i just bought UE TF10, second hand, my first gear to try on. the sound is crisp, very good soundstage. worth the money...but..

the sound profile is not ultimately what i'm looking for.. for me its a bit "flat" sound overall, eventho everything is well balanced.

i want some more "punch", maybe a bit more bass, but not too much.. i listen to metal and rock the most, and also instrumental guitar and piano.

can recommend other IEM for me?

any advise will be very much appreciated. thanks in advance.

weak bass? its bass is overwheming lol.. you can audition them in jaben. bring somemore money, you will find one that suits you definitely. but it me i will recommend se215 but it is rm388.. it suits you more because it fits your ear better when you are doing exercise and it has tight bass.

Hello everyone. smile.gif I'm interested in getting an earphone for my everyday use. As below are my requirements:
- Budget : RM400-700
- Your rig : iPhone 5>Fiio E9> SonicMax Pro(App)
- What type of usage : everyday use, commute, long plane-flights. Basically heavy-duty.
- File format used in your source : FLAC & Mp3
- Genre of music you listen to : Everything from rock to Instrumental(2StepsFromHell FTW)
- Headphone/ earphone type : IEM
- Other requirements : I own the UE TF10s for 1yr+ now, but due to heavy usage(travels, flights, outdoors) and some mishaps, the cables(Lune) are now kaput. I love crisp signatur and more neutral sound overall, so what I'm asking is are there any new IEMs out that are similar to what TF10s can do for the same price? If not, I might consider buying a new set of custom cables but the sound sig will change(again).

How much Bose AE2 price in Malaysia? I would like to compare the price here in Egypt which cost only RM 350 NEW!!
*
it is GBP119 = RM600 in UK, even -VAT it still costs rm500, but sometimes there's ridiculous offer like i grabbed my brand new akg k450 at rm200 here.

but beware of fakes, one of our member bought one back in malaysia but this means fakes existed and can be everywhere.http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2198931/all

so, do some research on the fake product before you buy the product in egypt.
