Hey guys!
hmm so i guess i would step out from sennheisers. as the 650/600 are too big for me, so the comfortability ruined it, so its pointless...

hmm but im not sure my heart is telling me to go get the M50. but i've read more and more reviews/appreaciation thread about the M50 and it seems like that it has more bad reviews about comfortability ... so arghh!!!.. and now im currently want to get either Beyer 770/880 or the M50.

ok so my friend is going to hongkong anytime soon! so i need a good decision and a quick one too!
so the prices are:
M50 =165$
Beyer Dt 880= 309$
beyer Dt 880 pro= 335$
beyer dt 770 pro = 238$
beyer dt 770 pro 88th anivessary edition L/E http://jaben.com.hk/ProductView.asp?ID=759&SortID=207
= 270$
Hifiman HE-300= 335$
Ultrasone HIFI 2400= 316$

so preety much these are the price i can get.. cheapest.. new ones ( i do not like owning 2nd hand items)
so in your opinion which 1 would be the bang of the buck ? and would also suit me the best!( if u forgotten my music genre check the above post/previous)

the dt 770 pros and 880 dt i only can get it (32Ω,250Ω,600Ω) and the limited edition's 770 pro i can get only 32Ω.

I personally felt that the design of the dt 770/880 are abit ugly ( no offence man, i prefer the M50 design the most) but if they are worth it( based on the price i stated) i would probably grab it over the M50/hifiman/ultrasone.

As i've said, i do want 50%bass and also 50%clarity. and also would like to feel 'natural' towards the sound.. i hope to feel like that the music is coming towards me 360degree, as if im in a concert but only me at the concert (LOL!). I would not want to feel that i've been reminded that i have my headphones on ( so its like a typical 2 sound coming from ur left earpads and also right earpads).. so yea... ( and i cant get Fiio in hongkong.. or is there any shops i can get it from? cant seem to find it in Jaben)

Thank you very much! im very sorry if i did bothered any of u . :-) have a great day.

Hi guys, this would be my 1st "expensive" headphones purchase. Initially I was dead set on getting ATH M50 after reading all the recommendations online. After testing it for awhile, I realised I like the sound, but it made me sweat after 10 minutes! I'm guessing its because it is closed back.

I then proceeded to test a Goldring DR150 and it was super comfortable for me and didn't make me sweat at all (probably due to them being open back). The sound was quite ok as well though the "kick" of the bass is slightly lacking to my untrained ears.

So I'm here now to get some recommendations from the pros. At the same price I could get an ATH AD700. Which one of these would you guys recommend? I'm also open to other recommendations. Below are some extra info. Hope to hear from you guys soon and thanks alot in advanced!

My Rig: Ipad2
- Type of usage: Music (60%), Movies (20%), Games (20%)
- File format: MP3, FLAC, WMA
- Music genre: Pop, Rock, Alternative, Rap, OST
- Budget: RM500 plus minus
- Headphone/ earphone type: Comfortable (Over the ear?)
- Other requirements (if any): Comfort

Hi there, need some information and recommendation. How many type of bluetooth wireless headphone available from Beats (1 only)? Where is the local original dealer shop (Beats) located? Any recommendation of others bluetooth wireless headphone? Thanks for answering my question.

(Currently using SE MW600, nice earphone & great sound/bass, but more interested on wireless headphone recently)

You will experience an overall degradation of sound quality moving from wired to wireless.

Bro, why not try Beyerdynamic Custom one Pro? personally i feel it is better then M50, leaning towards dt770pro signature and better overall design, it is retail in USD199.

Hi all, need some advice on the above topic... I'm looking for a light pair of supra aural headphones and I have boiled down my decision to these two (circa RM200)

I have a-jays one IEM and I absolutely love them and have tried the V-jays before and also find them to be excellent...
On the other hand, I have read countless reviews of the classic PortaPro but have never sampled them...

So which do u think is better, I mainly use them around the house or sometimes when I'm out... I listen to mostly rock, dance and ambient music...

Get the Anniversary DT770. A review in headfonia had praised it immensely and compares it to the more high end tesla lineup by Beyerdynamic.
www.headfonia.com/the-beyerdynamic-we-love-dt770-anniversary-edition/

Its also a limited edition, if I were you I would grab it as soon as I could.

Also since you want it to sound 360 degree and like in a live performance, you're in luck. The review mentioned that the soundstage and 3D imaging is better than the DT770 and DT880.

Between those 2 model, I recommend KOSS PortaPro for its detail and unique design. If you more prefer bass response then get yourself V-Jays headphones.

Other recommendation for supra aural + Budget RM200 headphones:

[+] Audio-Technica ATH-SJ33
[+] JVC HA-S400

Hi while your friend is going to Jaben HK in Mongkok he should also check out many audio stores in Sim City few blocks away. Do check out DMA Audio they have good discount for certain products.

Hi there, thats a very new product I cant find any reviews of it online. Perhaps you could give me more info about the headphones? How does it compare with a ATH-AD700 / Goldring DR150?

Thanks!
