Hi, I had a chance to try the Beats Mixr last Friday, I like it. I mainly listen to electronic dance music, EDM and occasionally some jazz and a little bit of RnB.
I liked how i can feel the bass. It's punchy, strong and makes my music come to life.
As all of you may have figured out, I don't really care that much for the trebles or soundstage of the headphone.

My question is, what other headphones would you recommend besides these Mixr's based on the preference I have given above (BASS). I don't want some clarity shit with no bass feel, just a pair of cans that would blow/rattle my heart out when I put them on --> BOOM BOOM BOOM.

Please don't recommend me the Sony XB1000. I don't have elephant ears.

Budget is 1k.

BASS --> Closed type --> Quite portable --> Clarity/soundstage/yadayadayada aka not important.

My rig - Handphone mostly, ie. Nokia Pureview 808 & iphone.
Usage - Movie & music.
File format - Various range, from flv, mp3, mp4, flac, even HD movie stream via airplay to iphone.
Genre - Music: instrumental, vocal, soft rock, Orchestra pieces. Movie: usual stuff, I guess clear vocal is important.
Type - IEM.

My situation is this.Looking to buy 2 items.I travel alot and am hoping to find a an earbud so good that i dont need to move around with a full size headphone.but if such earbud is not available within budget..then i guess have to buy a portable full size.Coz currently using grado sr60i.love it so much am planning to upgrade to sr 125i or 225i.but it's not convenient for travelling:( so sifu..plz help with some recommendation

Hello sifus, need your help once more.
- My Rig: Samsung Galaxy W with Poweramp as music player
- Type of usage: Music & sometimes video
- File format: MP3, FLAC, flv, avi~~
- Music genre: Variety of musical genres ranging from electronica, industrial and rap to ethnic, acoustic, orchestral and folk styles (basically anime & game soundtracks)
- Budget: Around RM100-150 is preferable, but if any game changing specs for a lil' +, is welcomed too.
- Earphone: Looking for IEM with good clarity i suppose. Help me choose based on my variable music choice
- Other requirements (if any): Cables do not "die" if i wear them to sleep if possible,  . If possible, comfort too

Thanks for your feedback. I dont really know which side I lean on to more. I listen to many song genre so I cant actually picture a clear cut in my "type". So I thought Beyerdynamic XP 2 is nice, but overall, i would like better clarity in my songs~ Sometimes when listening to songs compounded with many overlays, low clarity kinda kills it

Hey guys , i currently use a FISCHER AUDIO Eterna Rev.1 IEM and  Audio Technica ATH700ProMKii

reason for changing it decided to disassemble itself,due to the glue used in manufacturing that was horrible it's now in a weird form

i want something with decent clarity when it comes to instrumental music and yet gives a solid and tight bass punch

Hi, i'm new here.
Any recomendation for headphone for listening to classical music  under Rm200.
I recently bought a Superlux Hd668b and found that the sound is unreal for acoustic instrument , piano is too bright, woodwind no richness ,strings too thin.It also cause fatigue.   
Hope someone can suggest a right headphone for me.
