Have you tried change your brake pads?

No, i not even change my tyre yet. Wondering what is the main reason. It shake like a granny now. so sad.

anyone installed VS and grounding cable on forte??...how is it? it will void warranty right?

Maybe you need to do wheel balancing? Or maybe your rim dent edi?

Added on August 22, 2012, 4:24 pmActually our forte is very well grounded. I wanted to put those on initially but a mechanic where I've don't all my mods told me there's no need to... Save cash and spend on something more beneficial... My 2 cents..

Just now when I reverse the camera is not functioning. My mirror show nothing then i turn off the engine and start back its okay already. Wanna send back to SC but its okay now. My car is stil below 1.5k KM.

Malaysia not up to that standard yet, isnt it?

yesterday when I fetched my friend go to makan breakfast (curi tulang coz we still need to work during raya), he suddenly said how come my forte gear shifting is so smooth. he is a bit surprise and i think it is from the bottom of his heart coz he always LCLY so a bit out of expectation when he said so.

(BTW, he is driving previous CITY and Exora bold which are equipped with CVT gear box).

Uneven brake disc surface making the car vibrating while braking..

Your car milleage already 40k...better change the brake pad...i had same issue with my previous car...changing brake pad did solve the problem..if still not...skimming the brake disc also will help...

i see...i tested the panther fuel saving device aka voltage stabilizer and found that no big effect also...so i am asking..btw, what did u guys mod beside rims/tyres...anything to mod with rm200++..lol

I did put extra grounding cable for my car...and according to the installer...forte grounding is just a simple grounding and only connected to few points only..it use a long way to travel from one point to the other point...so extra grounding cable can shorten the electrical moves....

Use quality and thick cable to feel the effects...all those cheap cables are useless and for sure you wont feel the effects...

Mine i feel aircond more colder than before and engine cranking much faster...

Same to my taman auntiecand uncle those are Toyota and Honda supporter. When I brought my forte last 3 weeks, they question me is this car cost more than 100k RM. ... I am so proud of this car...

Added on August 22, 2012, 9:20 pmAgreed! I have the same problem on myVI. Until the SC changed the brake disc and pad together and solve the problem. Change the brake pad only may not help.

It is called water vapour. Since the exhaust system is metal, it will be cold at night and water condensation will happen inside the exhaust. Upon starting up, the exhaust will get hotter and the water becomes steam.

I prefer Forte, went to a showroom this morning. The interior is quite nice, better than any similarly priced cars, even the japs. Sadly the showroom did not have a test drive unit.

Same problem like me last time..

Remedy steps:
1)pop up the boot
2)unscrew every screw at the black panel
3)look at the camera socket which securely locked on the boot metal
4)tarik keluar the plug
5)twist the plug clockwise 2X (for tighter fit into the socket)
6)cucuk balik plug into the socket kuat kuat
7)replace the black panel in position and screw back everything

problem solved for me about 1 month so far, camera still works fine and no flickering at all..

I proved to him when coincidentally stopped by beside him at traffic light stop. I put my foot down on accelerator about half and smoked his previous gen Corolla Altis 1.6E in a blink of eye. And he told me your car powerful leh.. sure "sik yau" (eat petrol) one.. !!
