QUOTE(nymerine @ Jan 27 2013, 09:32 AM) Planning to do so, anymore cheaper data package? Because I use less than 500MB per month even though I'm using 1GB data package. rm18/mth on 300MB, Celcom = XOX ( vice versa ) , even faster if you based on Celcom SKMM which is 1.5Mbps , XOX can touch 2Mbps , if you are smart enough, use the ahem's way

QUOTE(nymerine @ Jan 27 2013, 09:38 AM) Interesting, you do provide those services right? Let me consider first, I'll pm you once I made my decision Speed isn't really big deal for me, as long can load page website. Is there any catch? Like after quota, can you still access internet @ capped speed or there's no access to internet after quota? I do MNP into XOX. Quota once reached, you can still purchase data add on. PM me if you are interested, and my Service is FOC too, you just pay for what you need.

QUOTE(ikengkai @ Feb 25 2013, 03:40 PM) Thank for the answer. If like this, the coverage is consider good. Among the Big4 telcos, Maxi,Celcom,DG and UM , UM simcard is the best, you can use for Mobile Internet, Broadband and PAYU. Try these 3 stuff with the other Telcos, you cry will 3 times .

Calling 1111 is useless now.

All Telcos are Good, just that some perform better at certain locations. You cant expect better because its Cellular not fixed line. But different Telcos have different voice/data packages to suit each individuals. When we talk about Customer Service support, DiGi and Celcom is the Best and Umobile is worst ~ but they are on FREE calla. Maxis charges for CS Support if on Prepaid

QUOTE(help me lah @ Mar 27 2013, 04:32 PM) Hi I am interested in getting prepaid U-Mobile plan UMI28...but I heard that coverage outside of Klang Valley is not good, is this true to some extent? Also, does it have international roaming? Such as in Australia ke Thanks! Any Telco is location Dependent, you have to try and find out., eg my house , inside signal sucks, outside blazing fast U Prepaid dun have International Roaming, Others like Tunetalk or XOX have, not to mention the Big 3 , DG,Maxis & Celcom

QUOTE(TengTJ @ Apr 1 2013, 11:25 AM) I filed complaint to CFM early Mar. Till today both UMobile and CFM still gave me an answer. Usually you would get a reply from CFM with 3~5 working days after filling the complain. I would advice you to re file as your email could have gone into their Spam Folder

QUOTE(azrash @ Apr 12 2013, 12:01 AM) same here man, I wouldn't have checked the balance if you didn't post this. quite surprised that I didn't have to wait long to talk to their CS and get a case number too. system wide problem affecting auto subscribe? perhaps other UMI users can check too, just in case Next time, either you topup or subscribe to package ~ pls do it before 7pm cause after 7pm, UM system sucks. I cant even log into its server to do new user registration stuff. Best is do it in the morning 8am ~ 3pm

QUOTE(erxier @ Apr 12 2013, 12:48 PM) Hi, I'm new to Umobile, just got my first month statement via email. I was charged for a total of RM207.23 (1+1 monthly rental + RM20 rebate) which including another activation fee of RM100. I've paid that RM100 in cash during my sign up with umobile dealer. What's the possibility for umobile to charge me twice for the activation fee, I've emailed the cs team and still waiting for the reply. anyone faced the same issue before? You paid rm100 to the UM Dealer, what package is that ?

QUOTE(blinkblink88 @ Apr 14 2013, 12:36 AM) How many days do I need to wait for activation and enable to use the broadband? I wait more than 24 hours but still unable to use... UM Simcard have to be registered at the location/place you purchase it because all Dealers simcards are pegged into UM System under that Source Code, unless you go to a Service Center which can over ride that peg.
