go get a prepaid sim pack at any 7~11 outlet,.. then you could use inside the sim RM5 value to subscribe 1 day/24 hour broadband to test kaw kaw before u decide anything

I ady tried with my phone at genting. It just allow EDGE 2G connection only eventhough UM have 3G there.

did u force your phone to 3G/WCDMA only ?

yeah. ady setting at 3G/WCDMA also select 3G network but not allowed to connect it.

not every part in genting have Umobile 3G signal though as far as i remember

but i do remember i able to roam to Maxis 3G last time when i was in genting,

I used it at car park near to first world hotel. I tried to roaming with maxis 3G but not allowed to do so.. how you did that?

i didnt force anything, it is on Auto on my phone, i am using nokia X3-02 that time when in genting though

Um dun hav any 3G tower at genting only can roam on 2g maxis

so the mobile signal that i get from phone= broadband signal strength?

broadband and mobile internet is both from same cell tower,.. it is just a different packages and plan

im so lazy end up didnt buy

just put into handphone use *118# to register... if really lazy then nothing can help buy just pay extra for other telco by the way if lazy also won't hang around here to ask haha

Umobile broadband removed the "No extra charges after exceeding data limit" and applied PAYU policy?

first PREPAID without UMI or any BROADBAND subscribed = PAYU, meaning PAYU rate from 0.05 to 0.1 per mb

for postpaid, there is some NOT UNLIMITED PLAN such is U38, so they follow new PAYU rate too

guys need not to be confused, UMI plan either 18 or 28 or 38 or 48 also UNLIMITED MOBILE INTERNET, you wont be charged any fee by using the DATA under these plans

and same case go to U28 U58 U88 and Internet Share Plan 68 and U premium which is RM 168, since all these plans are UNLIMITED DATA 1,



only those prepaid users not subscribing any plan, or those U38 and very old time U68 users who got limited 3gb data

will be charged RM 0.1 / mb PAYU

For your information , SUPP line that is RM 10 also will be charged
