how come no annual leave and medical leave???? first time i heard about this, what if you fall sick? You are gonna pay back the MC you've taken? No annual leave I understand maybe follow Malaysia's standard holiday system.. but no medical leave?? Gosh

Hi sub_noob, thanks for sharing....well, for this one year, not entitled to any holidays, no skool holidays as well, then if they renew my contract in the 2nd yr, u will get maybe 1/3 of the skool holidays....but the owner says she will see how the 2nd n 3rd yr goes....coz like she told me earlier, the center is still new and not yet established so she is unable to afford to give medical benefits and also wont be medical leave. She put one teacher to every age group...so i believe she didnt think ahead...like what happens if teacher gets high fever, i think she still expect u to take panadol and come to work coz no one is going to look after the 20 students that u r responsible for.

For training, it will be next month only for 3 days, then in august next yr there will be another one week training, i think its like education training, motivational training as what the principal told me. Currently we only have 2 staffs as we r still looking for a fulltime mandarin teacher...school will only start in january next yr, so from oct til dec, we r registering, recruiting n getting the center all ready

I do think that at least MC is a must if no AL. My girlfriend kindergarten opened around September last year but still provide AL and MC. The ratio for children and teacher also quite high IMO. Make sure that your principal send you to take KAAK course and starting next year, you have to take this Permata training. Its compulsory IINM for all teachers in the industry. You have degree in early childhood?

that's always the case...I was a part timer at machines..then the company decided to up the target for the full timers and make it near impossible to achieve..had nothing to do with me (I only PT staff) but i was pissed. I wrote to Dato Subramaniam of MOHR.. then Jabatan Tenaga Kerja called and asked details..they say unless if the actually staff come, there is nothing they can do about it.. tried asking my friend, the full time to come forward..he say he scared..

If the RM850 is consistent every month then nope, you're not underpaid considering your age and years spent in the company.

Any bonding with the CTFL training + exam provided? Yup, your salary is in within market range If you really like testing field, there are loads of QA jobs available in the market
