I will say you are a little underpaid. With 3 years + experience in .net development should get you more. 2 weeks bonus is too small. 1 month bonus will be ok

Job Title : Line Leader
Job Description : Run production line to meet deadline. Prepare all kind of report (quality, after sales, CKD, testing, journalist/tester report/ more). Window person for any contact with Italy HQ
Age : 24
Location: KL
Company: Motorcycle assembly (superbike)
Years spent in company : 1 year (young company)
Tenure : Permanent
Level : Supervisor/Operator (I`m not really sure exactly, offer letter state operator)
Experience before joining : 2 year in supervisory role (Construction + Genting Highland)
Salary : 2000 + OT RM250 MAX
History: RM1500 - RM2000

The history is : I join the company as a Quality Operator (state so in offer letter), but after some time the boss recognize my skill and promote me to handle all thing regarding production and after sales of the bike in production. Now, I`m doing engineer job, all the thing I`m currently doing, for other section (small bike) are done by "engineer" status person. And they do it in a group like, QC one person, production one person, after sales one person. For me, everything is on my shoulder.

From what I know all those engineer receive at least RM2300 a month, with leave on Saturday (I have to work on Saturday). They also get 14day annual leave (me 8day).

So, am I`m underpaid, and un-fairly treated? Yes I know I`m promoted, but does the stress I`m dealing with right now is worth the money I`m paid?

Working in Tesco getting paid Rm7.50 per hour above depends on experience. RM7.50 x 8 x 26 days = Rm1560, difference are RM440.

They giving out 14 days AL for full time employment and you might get promoted to Line Leader with basic Rm1800 - RM2300 within 1 to 2 years.

Certain retail outlets with no customer, just duduk goyang kaki most of the times, ada customer baru layan, also getting paid RM1500 - RM2000 nowadays.

Easier routine and relaxing job in Tesco and elsewhere not that much of stress also. I don't consider your job as engineer work, or it is? rclxub.gif

I saw some lyn member only 28-30 earn the same salary as you.

Probably you should try find other private company which offer better paid & bonus then stay in government sector for the rest of your career.

Now 6-7k is nothing for a family person. With that salary can't even afford to buy a 500-700k double storey.

Sorry bro. Dont underestimate the pension. By the time he will get 7k rm without working and worrying. And he could start up business in his retirement.

In private company, your job not secure enough and u work long hrs. I know 6 yrs in big 4 u can get 7.5k.

If i were him, i will do part time business too. Gov job not stressful.

after 1.5 years exp, you should be no different with degree holder. Just request at least 2k (or higher) from your boss.
Your boss don't offer you, then I believe you can get it in somewhere.
