QUOTE(wild_card_my @ Sep 21 2013, 01:08 AM) Noted. And I was trying to tell the previous poster about how to ballpark the net income. But yeah, the quoted salary is usually gross salary, least that is the practice in Malaysia. Thanks for sharing anyway Just sharing only, this is what the forum meant to be. QUOTE(blek @ Sep 21 2013, 01:21 AM) my previous job, i need to handle design, meeting client, draft drawing, draft bq, quotation pricing for bq, prepare sample for material, project coordination, site supervision, ordering material to site, arranging worker/ sub-con to site, prepare report, site meeting with client or consultant, arranging payment for sub-con, make claim from client. now i lost track and dont know how much salary will be reasonable for knowing and doing so many. now i only request& demand based on market value from jobstreet. now judging from your experience how much is my salary reasonable? Sorry, I'm in telco field. Not familiar with yours.

Now the person is being offered 12% to jump which i think its quite not attractive enough . But I am just curious like why you are saying that more than 5 % at current company, its less convincing to jump?

QUOTE(tinybee @ Sep 24 2013, 08:29 AM) It's a back office job. I graduated wth a business degree 8 months ago Your 1st job? I think its quite ok considering its back office. What you need to do is to manage your expense. Proceed to finance thread and ask for advice. Then you need to work smart and hard to climb your way up.

QUOTE(tinybee @ Sep 24 2013, 11:49 AM) My first job. Previously it was only 1.8k. Boss increased to 2.5. Im very grateful but still wonder if im earning ok. Thx for the feedback ic.. yeah its fair for a back office degree holder to get 2.5k.. i've seen somewhere in other thread a guy with masters get around 2.9k... so 2.5 seems fair..

QUOTE(rukaman @ Sep 26 2013, 09:36 PM) Is it normal for executive in manufacturing line dont have OT? The reason most company name employee executive is no need to give OT claim. This not only apply to manufacturing line, but other sector as well. Just hope your company if give replacement leave or time off for any extra hours work.
