guys i just bought my s3 few days ago and i found out that the earphone/ headphone plug of the phone does not really detect well, sometimes i have to plug once or twice in order to make it works, it's hard to explain, in summary, it's just the hole on top of the phone is not very sensitive, sometimes couldn't detect my earphone, however it will works after i re-plug in again, it's just a small matter, so if i want to fix this, will i need to use the warranty or 1 to 1 exchange? it doesn't matter if it can't be fixed since it does not affect much just a little bit annoying when playing games in horizontal line, often touch the earphone and then the sounds gone have to fix it again, but i can avoid it if i try my best to avoid touching the earphone, so guys is it necessary to fix it?

use quick panel setting ,you can have maximum15 notification bar toggle.

Passworded su is a good compromise IMHO. Not bulletproof security but better than nothing. Remember the iPhone JB SSH fiasco?

What I just realized is that EVERY root attempt is captured by SuperSU and permission needs to be granted, which is also good (unless, in your infinite wisdom, you decide to automatically grant access to all requests). Even when invoking SU in terminal.

What is NOT good though, it only asks the first time lol. Oh well.

It'll be better to be able to FORCE having to grant permission on a per-app basis though (which currently can be bypassed simply by unticking the "ask me next time" box).

Sigh. With all this, sometimes I think it's better to just run an effing firewall on our phones.

Well, enough of that. It's just a phone after all lol.

@mscw88: Try "button saviour" from the market. It should work.

using checkrom v4 now and didn't found any apps or word related to quick panel

I use screen off fx.

I have an annoying issue with my mic enabled headphones. Sometimes answering by clicking the HP button (the only one that works - damn made for iphone IEM) will answer the call but I CANNOT hear the other party. Pulling the headphones out and plugging it in again solves the problem.

Anybody else have this?

Well regular people don't bother with these security issue.I do.Which is why till today I don't put much my personal data ( including mobile banking stuff) in phone.There's no fool proof way to completely secure your phone.

It's not just phone nowdays.Mobile phones are turning as credit card nowdays.

once flash it then can edit what to put at the notification toggle area ?

install omega kitchen from playstore. under mods look for statusbar toggle button.

or install vanamlite rom, its preinstalled LOL!

or XDA under themes and apps.
