so, try my luck buy from ebay SGP biggrin.gif

I bought mine from eBay malaysia website because it was about RM16 cheaper compared to SGP website.
But apparently it was a pricing mistake, so after 3 days they changed the price to be the same as SGP website biggrin.gif

Hi guys,

May i ask anyone here had any tiny blue dead pixel on the LCD screen ?

There's 1 dot of that tiny blue dead pixel on my fren's set, is it claimable for warranty if his set within 7 days ?
Pls enlighten me, thanks.
*
I've seen a few people post in this thread a few versions ago saying that their screens had dead pixels too.
And if i remember correctly, you will not be able to claim for warranty unless there are more than 5 dead pixels.
No harm trying though biggrin.gif

there are 2 views about using 2A charging, one it does not help n possibly harm phone while the other say it helps in faster charging
my experience : I always use 2A desktop charging in ALL my Android n must say charging time is NOTICEABLY,faster at least 50% n in all my years using I have yet to have damaged batteries. s3 example only 2 hours vs 3 hours on default charger
You need to use those good desktop ch argers not those cheapo types which I seriously doubt accuracy of its power output
there are sites arguing why theoretically a 2a charging will not help. Though it sounds logical but that never explain why I consistently get faster charging time
so I continue using it n happy with it
*
do you turn the charger off immediately after it is fully charged? I've been thinking of using the 2A power output on my Yoobao power bank but I always read about people saying it will damage the battery doh.gif

Sometimes i leave it on for hours , never bother to take it off the plug even after fully charged
There are so many such rumours of batteries being damaged - believe it if you wish. I don't as all batteries has builtin circuitry of no overcharging allowed. i ahve yet to have a single battery spoilt and i have been practising these for past 3+ years after i got my ipad charger ( which i used to charge all my androids due to its higher 2.1A output). On the yoobao 11200mAh external pack, i always use the 2A port to charge
\Again this is my experience - you need not believe what i say. If you want to play safe, just DON'T DO IT

What issue - i never have problems ; has been using it 2 years - a 4800 n 11200 mah unit
There are many fake yoobao in Kl - buy with care and you will not have any problems
*
alright.. thanks for advice smile.gif

JB on nexus is fast n smooth.
but JB on S3 should be a monster! hehehe
*
I believe touchwiz will screw it all up by lagging it up just like how ICS screwed the galaxy note and S2 (according to friends who use those phones)
imo, JB probably won't lag up the phone, but probably next time

QUOTE(VeilSidex @ Jul 28 2012, 02:42 PM)
scrollable wallpaper from S2 don't exist in S3? anyway to enable it?
*
+1 to this question. i'm interested in knowing too! biggrin.gif

Do you guys feel that there is some lag in accessing Contacts? And when you press the letter shortcut on the right, it takes a slight lag to activate...
*
i had the same problem too, it was because my contacts are in my SIM.
i moved all my contacts to my phone and disabled SIM contacts, now the problem is gone. try it biggrin.gif

Guys i just installed a cracked apk (im not trying to discuss about warez)
of PAPAGO! M9 Navitotal for Malaysia/singapore.

I just installed it to try it before buying since i didn't like Sygic's interface.

Anyway, I realised that in the past 3 days, the app always appears in my Battery Use Info page even though I never opened up the app to use in these days.

I don't think it's eating up my battery significantly, but i'm just wondering why it always appears there even though i didn't use it. Anyone else purchased this app before?
Is it a bug? ohmy.gif

also, i can't seem to find it in play store? but my friend's HTC OneX play store has it

I think same with Papago X5. The app dont really exit until you goto the menu and use the exit shortcut there.

Forgive me for my sleepiness... sweat.gif
*
i thought that was the problem too, but i'm pretty sure that i exited the app using the back button hmm.gif

you need to exit using the exit button in the app, cant use back button, if you use back button, it will not exit and stay at your notification...

im talking about back button, not home button smile.gif

NO back button, NO home button, NO menu button.

go into the app, swipe left, you see the exit picture there in red, touch it....
*
clicking on the exit button and clicking back button brings up the same "are you sure you want to exit PAPAGO?"
so isn't it the same? hmm.gif
