QUOTE(eqmal197 @ Jul 23 2012, 10:53 AM) Firstly I hope your kids are strapped in properly when they're riding in the rear seats If you're talking about the centre lap belt, you can remove the bottom rear cushion by pulling on the tabs and then tuck the lap belt underneath. Though it's going to be troublesome removing the cushion to take out the lap belt for use every time you have three persons at the back. |

Actually the FLX bodyroll less than the Wira and Waja. Just that it is really tall so it's not so comfortable when cornering. Couldn't post further detail/pictures until midnight/tomorow morning. Glove compartment, cabut oni. Inside is the blower, got 1 rectangular cover, open up is the pollen filter, take out pollen filter, beneath is the paper filter. I changed the paper filter initially, thenreplaced the pollen filter with paper filter also. Therefore ma kar got 2x paper filter instead
To those who expecting magic after paper filter being replaced, sorry to tell you no such thing. Only placebo effect I heard/read is aircon no longer sejuk, which indeed is placebo effect. If check with the wind meter(can't remeber what it called), the amount of CFM is exactly the same with pollen filter compare with paper filter. The only difference is paper can filter human slime, pollen doesn't. Down side is, paper did filter job toooooooo well, bloweer wind quickly get conjested. Now this is the real effect when aircond wind become low. Need to take out the filter & dust it from time to time. So, 0 effect. Aircond won't feel colder. Smell can be reduce or eleminate. But 1 thing for sure, the total amount of dust kena trapped after 1st layer of paper filter is amazingly much. I ady took off my 2nd layer replaced back with pollen, just to show you how horrible it is. |

QUOTE(+Newbie+ @ Jul 23 2012, 12:13 PM) How's your fuel consumption now luke? I remember you had issues with it recently. Ahh thanks for asking. It seems to be returning to normal, as I posted a few days ago: Oh and the FSB feels damn good right? Anyways, you're right in that higher revving doesn't always mean higher FC. It's more important to be in the optimum rev where you get the just right amount of torque for the job at hand. QUOTE(lhwj @ Jul 22 2012, 01:39 AM) Anyways I drove 130 km between Thursday night and tonight. On Friday night I took my friend to tour around downtown KL. Then went to LDP via Damansara Link and then down to Federal Highway. Got stuck in a jam between the Jalan Utara and Kerinchi Link exit. Took Kerinchi Link all the way to Sri Hartamas then Penchala Link home. Today we went to Jalan Ipoh, then SS2. Filled up at Damansara Jaya tonight for the long drive. The above trip clocked 7.6L/100km, which is about my usual figure for driving around KL. Looks like my spark plugs have worn in and corrected themselves I made a trip trip yesterday, PJ -> Ipoh -> Penang with three persons on board, and boot full of stuff. Now I'm at 400.6 km, and still a bar of petrol remaining. This is despite revving to 6k RPM a few times As for the FSB, I couldn't really feel any difference initially, but the more I drove the more I appreciated it. It rides better over bumps and also the steering precision is improved, as Unker David mentioned. I've just removed it this morning to have a feel of what it was like before I installed it. Then I'll put it on again later and enjoy 9 9 |
