QUOTE(davidke20 @ Jul 23 2012, 12:22 PM) Couldn't post further detail/pictures until midnight/tomorow morning. Glove compartment, cabut oni. Inside is the blower, got 1 rectangular cover, open up is the pollen filter, take out pollen filter, beneath is the paper filter. I changed the paper filter initially, thenreplaced the pollen filter with paper filter also. Therefore ma kar got 2x paper filter instead From my old old post...difference seen between old & new cabin aircon fikters after abt 9+k Km in use .... To those who expecting magic after paper filter being replaced, sorry to tell you no such thing. Only placebo effect I heard/read is aircon no longer sejuk, which indeed is placebo effect. If check with the wind meter(can't remeber what it called), the amount of CFM is exactly the same with pollen filter compare with paper filter. The only difference is paper can filter human slime, pollen doesn't. Down side is, paper did filter job toooooooo well, bloweer wind quickly get conjested. Now this is the real effect when aircond wind become low. Need to take out the filter & dust it from time to time. So, 0 effect. Aircond won't feel colder. Smell can be reduce or eleminate. But 1 thing for sure, the total amount of dust kena trapped after 1st layer of paper filter is amazingly much. I ady took off my 2nd layer replaced back with pollen, just to show you how horrible it is. Pls chk out pics in Post #1437 .... QUOTE(iskazulka @ Jul 23 2012, 04:19 PM) Q: so we cod the cabin filter to replace the pollen filter right? had mention there are another paper filter. in the video only saw the pollen filter. so where is the filther situated? IINM, BLMs & FLs do NOT come with paper element filter as stock. Dunno abt FLX. There are 2 possible ways 2add the paper filter : 1. Remove the ori "pollen/dust" filter ( mesh type) and replace with paper filter. Me did this for first trial. 2. Add the paper filter below the ori filter. Air flow is not affected significantly with both types installed. My ride now with both installed. |

Fr posted replies, appears type is not fixed...
Wonder wat's rationale for 2 different types of that "pollen" filter? Cos it appears 2b not related to model eg BLM/FL/FLX.... Cld it be paired with the aircon sys? My aircon compressor is a Sanden. Are there any Denso units in Saga? Or mayb production batch? |

Bros....Since we're on topic of "differences" in aircon filter, let's chk out the Filter Box itself...
The Filter Box Cover... In Bro david's attached video, the cover is opened by releasing the clip on its right side. This is mine : ![]() Yup, that clip is on the LEFT side!! So....?? Possibly supplied by different vendors? Yr guess is as good as mine.... |

QUOTE(zukjka @ Jul 28 2012, 05:25 PM) Anyone experience before your car wont lock when you press remote? It will only beep 4 times, then nothing will happen.I check all 4 doors and boot lid all close properly.Guess what happen next,i open rear bonnet and close it back.Try pressing remote again.Tada, everything back to normal. The main culprit of boot alarm sensor prob is the sensor contacts!Proton uses a different way 2"know" if boot is closed properly...not same as for doors & bonnet! Pls chk out my ole ole post c/w pics below : Link ==> http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...entry43532637 Hope helps esp in future if "banging" boot cover harder does not work... |
