Maybe VW dont want to bear any problem with our crappy diesel.
At least i want VW to bring on Golf Bluemotion TDI.

Fuel consumption
Combined, L/100km 3.8
Urban, L/100km 4.7
Extra Urban, L/100km 3.4
CO2 emission g/km 99
Fuel tank capacity litres 55

Quite impressive huh..

As far as I know from Aussie review, the figure is close to realistic and only achievable with manual stick, no DSG and no auto tranny..

Well, he's (my SA) is arranging the fitting for me. I even got to pick the colour (I went with black leather on a black car). I asked him via SMS and I have in effect a written record saying that it will not void warranty. I haven't taken the delivery of the car yet so I don't know how that will affect it. I'm purchasing my car from Cergaz near Penchala Link there.

That's awesome. smile.gif I found my SA very helpful, no patronising just straight to business, informative and efficient. Hopefully maintenance will been as pain-free as the sale has been so far smile.gif

But how the side airbag going to deploy in case of emergency if wrapped with leather?
Better to get written confirmation from SA, coz they might bullshit just to get commission from the shop.

same engine, but somehow for jetta must remove ECU first. the stock jetta is already pretty powerful

stage 1 only remap
stage 2 must add downpipe, intake is recommended but not compulsory. SSBH/brakes/suspension are not compulsory, but a welcome upgrade
stage 2+ with HPFP upgrade
stage 3 turbo upgrade; K04 etc
*
Thanks for the update bro. laugh.gif good to know stage 1 no need modification.

Curios, why jetta need to remove ECU ?

Tuners will replace with another ECU for the remapping ? if not, how does it work?

i have written confirmation, from what I understand is happening is that the fabric seat covers are being removed and leather covers with the side airbag portion being specially weakened for use with side airbag are being used. like how proper leather seats are done.
