V6 already... rclxms.gif

since you mentioned alignment, for those who does your alignment at Exquisite Marques or at some premium Sunway Pyramid SC.

Does the technician drive your car 1 round around his workshop/area after the alignment and balancing is done to do testing?

same engine, but somehow for jetta must remove ECU first. the stock jetta is already pretty powerful

stage 1 only remap
stage 2 must add downpipe, intake is recommended but not compulsory. SSBH/brakes/suspension are not compulsory, but a welcome upgrade
stage 2+ with HPFP upgrade
stage 3 turbo upgrade; K04 etc

Thanks for the update bro. laugh.gif good to know stage 1 no need modification.

Curios, why jetta need to remove ECU ?

Tuners will replace with another ECU for the remapping ? if not, how does it work?

ECU still the same. just that a new map is loaded into it. during the process, just connect the laptop to a port below the steering.and wait for 15-30mins to download. afterwards voila.

-:Edited:-
you mentioned the ECU for Jetta must be removed..
below is the reason right?

Quoting Mavik in another thread.:
Note that not all cars can just be easily loaded into the ECU via a program. VW lately has been doing a lot of security measures which requires the ECU to be removed and benched (e.g. taking out the ECU, remove the tamper safe screws and then direct mapping there). The removal of the tamper safe screws is obvious to the dealers to know that the ECU has been tampered with.
Unquote.

??? Golf and scirocco same platform, same engine, same hp n etc...  Shouldnt them be same price or more or less ???

everywhere else , the roc is cheaper than the golf.

in MY it is the tax structure.

But if beetle 1.4 is selling below RM188,888 then must be:
a) tax structure for beetle vs roc is different? I tot both are 2 doors and tagged as a coupe in MY?
b) roc is priced at RM188,888 because VGM marked up the coupe higher to make is more expensive ?
I know the CIF price it is so damn bluddy low, most of the VW owners here can buy a few units without batting an eye. But at 188k... doh.gif shyt!
c) Beetle is priced lower to attract more buyers? or VGM just make lesser profit off this model.

Anyway, we still do not know the actual selling price , so it is just ranting based on some hearsay at this point.

The above are just my personal view. Dun flame me ya laugh.gif

Maybe, Beetle 1.4 selling 160k for a few months then later increase price again just like PGTI... brows.gif hahaha
this is Boleh land, anything can happen. rclxms.gif

Anyway PKR is pledging to abolish car tax if they're voted. I just got my car for a month lol. Crap. I hope existing car owners get some sort of tax refund on the taxes we paid for the cars.

Can provide the link to this statement from PKR for the benefit of everyone here?

Vw still have its  fare share of issues. Rattling n squeaks are just the normal bit
Other serious issues are with the dsg itself, the mechatronic unit at clutch are the main issues
Other than that misfiring due to plugs and coil pack

Worst bit is the service ctr. They take at least a week to diagnose an issue, but not fixing it.
Vw msia better buckle up ang get their act together, and not looking only at sales volume.
U can imagine the frustration over it. At the rate they are going, could b another toyota-ish scenario

even VW SG same problem with SC.
