well it is up to you... do you need the weather seal, 24MP, 12 FPS (24MP)...
you need to take note that the 16MP sensor is much mature, but there is some thing like 12 FPS (8MP) only...
others extra feature like soft focus and Clear Zoom 2X zoom with minimal pixel lost...

boost up contrast as mentioned and add a touch of vibrance would easily fix the photos.
